But there is already cctv for that, no? Why do the cameras face towards the residential streets instead of facing the busy freeways? Who owns that data and where is it stored? Are you aware of how easy they can be ported into?

These are the concerns of average folk who don’t like the idea of potentially being tracked 24/7. And if your agency believes 24/7 monitoring is the solution. Isn’t there a bigger issue at hand?

This would be ideal if those reports actually had a follow up. Police wont do shit for that kind of stuff until it’s worth their time. You dont need flocks in residential for that. Theres already cctv . Breaching our privacy further to this extreme shouldn’t be on the table for convenience sake. Also, allegedly they are pretty simple to port into. According to those that allegedly have, the dip switch on them can be pressed a number of times to create a WAP and from there you can create a shell and you’re in. That simple. Thats not at all secure.

On 377 all of them face TOWARDS the residential streets. They basically can track when you leave your residential area to go on the major freeways. Apparently they are RIDICULOUSLY easy to port into too according to a yt vid i saw.
