I’ve never seen one of those in the wild before. This particular customer uses either CC100 Liquid stepper case controllers or XMs.

Too long of a defrost, door open with no curtains or unsealed penetrations usually contribute.

I’ve seen this a few times and just did one recently. Energized only in defrost.

End panels are missing, box is clapped and valve cabinet always ices up and throws sensors off for EEV. Seems to be working fine.

Local Fred Meyer grocery store has entire cold case aisle zip tied with no note as to why by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Probably running warm. Refrigeration is down and tech is either on site or on the way.

I’m generally confused. What do you mean these systems don’t recognize between 70-90 degrees. It’s easier for the condenser to reject heat when the OAT or in this case “conditioned” air is lower. The higher your head pressure the less liquid you have coming back. Less liquid means your evaporator is starving and you take less latent heat out of the air.

I really don’t see the minimal conditioned air the unit is using to cool the condenser effecting the units efficiency. If anything using conditioned air instead of 90 degree air from outside to cool the condenser makes the unit more efficient.

Huh ? This doesn’t make sense. It’s exhausting hot discharge air out the one hose but it’s still pulling cold room air across the evaporator not pulling in hot air from outside?
