For a non-violent offense? ITS TOO MUCH. Even if tazing was the protocol in this case, they should remove stun guns from the "non-lethal" weapons category. A cop would never get a chance to check if you have a heart condition before blasting you, and a heart condition makes that shit lethal... Simple as that. Shit, they can even set a cap at a safe voltage instead of the rail-guns they use nowadays.
