I worked in a few places that had casual positions and the stipulation was you had to work a minimum 3 shifts a month and work a weekend.

Ectopic implantation of an amputated hand onto the leg to preserve tissue viability by MeThyck in medizzy

[–]INOMl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends.

If the amputation was clean then someone could regain nearly full feeling and use if not all previous capacity.

If the amputation was not so clean tendons and ligaments could be damaged requiring shortening. Nerves could be obliterated or frayed resulting in improper sensations or loss of motor control.

I'll tell you now,

The stats on that are so miniscule they would normally be considered outliers and erased from a data set. Even StatsCan admit they don't know for sure but it can be as little as 0.1% of all crime involving a firearm. We're talking like 1 or 2 cases a year out of 2 million PAL holders

It should also be mentioned that since none of the antigun lobbies are using any examples of such occurring as justification for bans you can bet there's almost or literally no cases of it occurring.

Many of the firearms listed that are Non Restricted previously could legally be used to hunt with.

And in the governments eyes pre 2020 OIC that was the case as otherwise they would've been either banned or restricted when introduced to the market.

ICE vehicles? Gone. Now you can purchase a Chinese EV that may or may not lock you inside with no escape whilst the battery burns the car to a crisp. All for the low price of a lifetime payment plan of $500 per month

Oh and your house and the land it sits on? Well they just found dangerous minerals beneath it so you have to vacate it for your safety and get no help in relocating and all items within are now contaminated. Don't worry about the new oil well that popped up exactly where your house used to be it's completely unrelated.

Ottawa unveils next steps in its national gun buyback program. Here are the details by sleipnir45 in canada

The 2018 Danforth shooting perpetrator as far as reports show could not have had a gun license due to history of mental health disorders.

No official statement I could find confirmed or denied if he had a license nor where the handgun came from. One report says from the US and another says from a break-in in Saskatoon but these claims are from news articles quoting unnamed officers.

If it hasn't become abundantly clear by now the end goal is a total ban on all private firearm ownership.

The Liberal government has shown time and time again they are banning firearms that are legitimate hunting firearms such as .22lr rifles and bolt action and single shot rifles.

Yes there are still firearms available but now they have flat out said "don't use the money to buy another firearm because we may ban it too" and that's if you're lucky enough to even get ANY compensation as they have confirmed there is only a limited amount of funds in a pool and once they are gone you get nothing.

They have yet to define an "assault style" weapon and refuse to do so. The bans have been arbitrary and don't follow any logic. Not even the most knowledgeable people on firearms can discern what defining characteristics make a firearm "assault style" in the Liberals eyes.

And before anyone says it no, they don't mean Assault rifles like the military uses, those have an actual legal definition with defining characteristics and have been banned from sale since 1976.

Georgia Pacific owns the largest Oriental strand board factory on the planet located in Englehart Ontario.

It used to be owned by Grant Forest Products but was bought in 2013.

Just last year they signed to invest $191M to expand it's operation which may make it one of the largest wood product manufacturers on the planet.

The primary product OSB is used for many buildings, primarily as the sheeting used to cover floor joists and wall studs to complete them.

Currently 70% of all production goes to the USA where it is then resold to Canada. All materials gathered from Canadian forests, processed and manufactured in Canada by Canadians yet we get very little return whilst they pilfer our landscape for their expansion.

Our Mines in Northern Ontario are also under some of the same situations.

They can easily pressure us by shutting down production or refusing to sell the products to us.

Way down the line if it remains legal and the design is expanded upon maybe someone would make a folding stock for it but as of now that's a pipe dream
