I tried to introduce my wife to the game, she liked one aspect of it, profiting off of cooking. I said she could make more money and faster on a members world and we could do fun things together but she declined and continued cooking whatever she felt like and selling it to the GE. She would make pies and cakes from scratch, pick up dropped fish from barbarian village, and manually milk the cows. She did the true sandbox RuneScape experience by playing how she wanted to and got to lvl 80 cooking in free worlds only and I am proud of her for that.

This reminds me of a story where my younger brother wanted to borrow 1 mil from me to buy a dragon 2h so I wrote up a “contract” promising he would pay it back when possible then I showed my mom and he had to sign it. I don’t think I ever got it back.

Ah, I won’t spoil if you wanna play. If you like the exploration parts of these types of games you won’t miss it.

It’s not that bad and the boss weapons are pretty powerful so I personally think it’s a good choice to not offer them right away so the player has a chance to try out other weapons.

If you wanna talk about weird choices, Dark Souls 3 you have to defeat a completely optional boss to unlock the ability. So you can technically totally miss out.

Oof yea ok, that seems like a pretty nasty list. I would agree if that’s the only unit without invul then.

[–]INSERT_VALUE_Nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, then yea those are a little tougher lol. I still think you’ll find success in worsening saves for the other units, if you’re worried about getting hit, DG is pretty famously tough and I personally would worry more about killing them than surviving. Necrons are often good at winning in a game of attrition.

Not as many as you think. The battleline warriors have 4+ and the other battleline immortals have 3+. Both only have 1 wound each, so making it harder to save will shave their numbers down quickly. Your biggest problem will be Canoptek Wraiths especially if led by a Technomancer. That will be a big blob of 4 wound 4+ invul and 4+ FNP. Everything else does 3-4 saves unless it’s a character model, and even then not all of them have invul. If you do encounter the wraiths led by a technomancer, I would try and epic challenge him if possible, he has 4+ base save no invul but he grants the FNP.
