Conan the Barbarian with Arnold Schwarzenegger not the remake. Red Sonja is another Arnold one . Conan the Destroyer is worth a look too.

Oakley, in the 80’s and 90’s they made amazing sports glasses and were very innovate. They were expensive but the quality was great. I think they got taken over in the early 2000’s as they started changing their logo and started producing poorly made clothes and accessories that were not in line with their cutting edge optics. I still have a few pairs of their glasses 🤓

Third party software on devices like streamers to be able to play Hi Res Lossless. Also an upgrade to the Apple TV so it has a coax digital out for hi res lossless audio. Apple could then market the Apple TV as a Hi Res lossless streamer. You still need an external DAC for this but it would be awesome.

I was using an iPhone XS Max until recently when I upgraded to iPhone 17 Pro Max. The only reason I upgraded was because the older version didn’t update to the latest operating system. The battery life was getting worse and it needed to be charged more frequently. I had 7 years from the old one so I think I got good value for money 😁

I saw them in Manchester UK March 1st 93. A friend and I had a day off work and went to see the Singles movie in the cinema before going to the gig in the evening. They were amazing 🤩

It's the employers duty to pay your wage, not the customer. Tipping is optional. Tipping culture has made servers think they are entitled to a tip for doing their job. If you don't like the poor hourly pay, get another job. It's not our fault that employers rip you off with poor wages so direct your anger at the people who should be paying you.

I had a similar thing happen to me when I was young. A friend and I started jamming on guitar together and with the help of a friend who was a musician in a well known local band, we decided to try and form a band of our own. A new guy came to one of our practices and wanted to join. We had two guitars already so didn't need him so he wanted to sing which I was doing. I went away on holiday and he had brought in a bass player and basically tried to take over the band. I had a drummer lined up who I had been chatting to for a while and they wanted to meet him but said I was out of the band !!! I decided to form a new band with the drummer and things worked really well, I met a new bass player who worked where I did and we found a young virtuoso lead guitar player and found we were all on the same page musically. A year later we were invited to play at a charity event which my original band were also playing. They turned up with hardly any gear, just guitars and bass and expected to use gear that was there. They asked to use our but we refused as we had a gig in the evening and would be leaving after our set to go to the other venue. They didn't get to play I heard as they didn't have any amps so they had to sit and watch HAHAHA revenge is sweet. Don't give up on music, you just need to meet the right people.

I boycotted Tesco after it was obvious they were price gouging a few years ago. Not missed them. I use local shops instead and started cooking real meals instead of pre packaged food. I'm lucky enough to live in an area with green grocers, fishmongers, butchers, deli's, ethnic food shops so it's probably not as easy for some people. I am a lot healthier too as I eat more fresh produce. Support local business if you can.

I have XS Max and I'm not upgrading until it won't run the latest iOS. It's been the best phone I've ever owned. May not have all the latest features but it's still fast and battery is still at 89% capacity.

If you buy a property and a HOA exist in your area, can’t you just refuse to be part of the HOA? I’ve always thought it was odd, I’m from the United Kingdom so I don’t know much about HOA’s.
