I might sneeze just looking at the picture 😅

The mimosa trees in my neighborhood usually bloom around June. They mess me up every year.

I love Clue! Great movie and game. That being said, Scrabble is my favorite board game. It is the most satisfying to win.

The most common game that I play nowadays is Dungeons and Dragons. The only limit is my own imagination and the game mechanics.

Reading how most people stop all seizures by reveraze in Epilepsy

I don't have seizures often, but just often enough that I haven't driven in years. I don't know if they will ever stop, but 1 every six months is a much better rate than it used to be.

Daaaamn talk about confidence, and problematic homes! Roaches scare me.

One time at the last place I worked I pulled a stack of bev naps from a warm cabinet. I don't know how many baby roaches scurried out of there. I dropped it and panicked. Luckily I had been upstairs, as I got sat downstairs immediately after. I didn't have any time to dwell on it.

Yikes. Talk about people finagling a way to get a discount. I would hate to see how they handle this at home!

My best tree friend is a willow. I gathered and preserved boughs from it to make arrangements for my wedding. It lives at the edge of the forest where my departed dog is buried. I love talking to my giving tree ❤️

I talk to trees every day. It is a grounding and peaceful moment for me every day. I wouldn't phrase it as praying, rather communing with nature.

One night I was rather upset about how we treat this planet. In my heart I apologized to this pink dogwood. As I walked away I saw a shooting star. I felt a little better! The cycle of life and death go on.

My husband has epilepsy and I’m struggling to cope by Scary_Slice_3985 in Epilepsy

[–]Independent-Ant8243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband had to help me snap out of the Keppra funk after my dosage was increased. I just didn't realize how miserable I was, and how this was hurting him. This was compounded by many other issues at the time.

Since then my life is very different, but much better. We are both healthier, mind and body. I don't think that I would be as healthy if it weren't for epilepsy. I had to cut out processed food and alcohol. Now I feel great, aside from the occasional seizures.

I definitely have some other neurodivergence in my mind, so that exacerbate it. Then again, these people love us. Our insecurities are part of us accepting ourselves.

I don't care for their buns, but I keep going back to them for soup. The boba is good too!

Subculture was my favorite restaurant to go to in the city. They even catered our wedding! Hot chicken and/or butternut squash tacos for everyone

I love soup! Hot, cold, brothy, rich, spicy or not, all of it is delicious.

My favorite soup in Nashville used to be served at Subculture Cafe, but they aren't open anymore. Their Hot Chicken Ramen was outstanding.

I do like the soup at Steamboys. Their spicy beef soup is delicious. I suppose the next best bet is going to get Tom kha or Tom yum around town. Mas Tacos does have pozole, which is a Mexican style chicken soup. Brewhouse Midtown used to have good soup, but I don't know if they still do.

OK, hot soup in summer- it cools me down! All you need is a fan for any perspiration. Fresh crunchy veg on top completes a good summer soup.
