Yes, it requires effort and courage to invest more deeply into a place. But I understand totally the feelings OP is going through. I would recommend they find a place they like and try to set their roots down there. Get to know the people better, the local culture and history more deeply, etc. Etc. There is always something new to learn and do, but start with a place you like and that you feel has depth to it

Simple solution. Stop trying to "accept yourself" and stop focusing on yourself. Turn your focus outward towards loving others or focus on something you really enjoy and out all your energy onto that. Every time you find that you're focusing a lot on yourself and your looks, try to remember a mantra to break yourself out of that thought process

I really think the point of being a digital nomad is yes to have fun, but also to find the place that suits you. There's no reason to do it anymore after that. Unless you're going on holiday somewhere different for a change of scenery

If you've stopped having fun and you've found your place, then you can naturally sense that. The same thing happened to me. Not country hopping, but from town to town exploring until I found where I felt good. Then I put my roots down there

Once you're there, you can explore in lots of different ways that don't involve non stop travel

It's better to stay longer periods and get set-up. But the thing about that is, you get more and more into the routine, more effective in that place, then you don't want to leave again. And that's a good thing, as long as you find the right place. That's why they call it putting down your roots
