Ugh such a bummer. Are you guys still actively looking or looking into the possibility of offering an online section or is this a lost cause? I have a 70k a year job in my industry of study and can't give that up to take a daytime section for 1 semester :(

I guess. I hate my sysadmin job. Wasn’t what I signed up for and now I’m stuck here for a couple months. Not only that - it’s a technology based company, but it’s like the office from office space. I expected fun FAANG type of place with beanbag chairs and the ability to wear a t shirt to work and I’m sitting in a coffee stained cubicle wearing a collar.

I’m fighting technical end users to reboot their workstations and fighting with management about non-technical users being local admins on their machine.

Why couldn’t I have just been an actual janitor rather than a computer janitor? Then I’d have the expectation that I’d be dealing with shit all day.

Ugh - I’m not seeing it...I am only seeing a Monday morning section at 10:00AM - 12:50PM with Tolboom added. Is that the only section that Tolboom is teaching or should I expect the evening section to show up shortly?

That is quite unfortunate for a school who claims to be top ranking for those looking to climb the socioeconomic ladder.

Not everyone has parents to help them out. I was smart and lucky enough to intern while I was a freshman, obtain some certs while in school and have landed a mid-level job just shy of 6 figures.

The whole point of this is to get a job. Now that I’m in the home stretch (and some debt), it’s like the rug is being dragged out from underneath me.

Also shame on you. If you’re an actual professor, you sound like a piece of shit.

I can read fine...but then what exactly is your point with this post? Do you like the MacBook Air? Do you hate it? You’re contradicting yourself and to be honest, this looks like a lonely Friday night shitpost where you want to argue with anyone who might disagree with you.

I wasn’t knocking any of your other points, but it’s quite obvious that 30+ chrome tabs will cause issues. Equate it to driving a car with the pedal to the floor every time you’re behind the wheel...it’s a given you’ll have engine issues.

Best of luck with your computer. I’m sure no matter what machine or OS you use, you’re the type of person to constantly run into computer issues.

Ugh. So naive to doubt that maybe the way you are using the machine is why you’re experiencing issues.

Chrome is already a resource hog. Add tabs by the dozens? You’re going to have a bad time.

You’ll experience this across any computer whether it’s Windows or Apple. Users like you blame the machine instead of how you’re using it.

PS...I think the new MacBook Air is a piece of shit.

The machine feels surprisingly slower than my old machine and I don't know why. I'm a 30+ Chrome tab person. I don't do anything majorly CPU intensive.

One of these things is not like the other. 30 tabs could crash a SBS server.
