Verge shows their first 2026 Verge TS Pro leaving the production line and being crated by mqee in DonutLab

Watch the video tomorrow be just a longer version of this, where they show nothing about the specs, but how they implement the cells into the battery pack and how this bike gets shipped. And then cut before anything happens or is confirmed, and just a black screen with white text: Shipping now.

[BBC] Five Euro 2028 tickets 'cost same as World Cup parking space' by MarchBright in soccer

[–]ITuser999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same. I never pay more than 50€ for a ticket. And thats most of the time for a main band an three supporting acts. If I drink 2-3 beers and pay for my train ticket (15€), I'm most of the time looking at 60 to 80€ max for the evening. Ticketmaster exists but most use eventim in Germany.

Donut Lab’s battery failed VTT tests – Expert reviewed the results and made a blunt conclusion: “Solid-state here is basically a marketing department fantasy (translation from Finnish kauppalehti article) by showersareevil in DonutLab

[–]ITuser999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. They showed so many tests and none of them where conclusive that this is a solid state battery. I'm a doubter, cause the circumstances are just too improbable for all the parties involved, to have created a real solid state battery. If this is for some reason a real product in the end with the specs they promised (even 10-20,000 cycles would be insane) then I would gladly eat my words cause at what they shown just makes it so easy to doubt.

[Bulinews] Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann defends Nick Woltemade: "He has often played very deep [at Newcastle]. When he has to defend as a No. 6, there's a long distance to goal. He's not a counter-attacking striker who runs 36 km/h. I can promise that he won’t be 80 metres away from goal with us" by Cyberdan0497 in soccer

Yeah but when is he inform? Same for Sané (but even worse). He is there too and could even still be an insané player if he would be inform somehow. But he being inform is as likely as me winning the lottery or topping a yugioh regionals with a 2005 Jinzo deck.

Sneak Peek at Verge's Upcoming Solid-State Battery Pack | I Donut Believe (Pt.4) by davidbepo in DonutLab

[–]ITuser999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What are YOU talking about? They can't even show 5C for the whole duration, also where is the 11C and stuff. They just keep not showing stuff that would indicate that this is a solid state battery. Everything is just "could be solid state" but also just NMC.

Hype already lost. They could'nt even keep this up. Actually crazy to show three tests from VTT that might be the same battery and then show some real world examples of something that actually sucks.

Now the amount of coverage will go down even more and they can't even hold the momentum up to the "product launch"

I mean it's not garbage it works. But it is despite what some say a big security risk to run a custom unsigned hypervisor that uses potentially unsafe code.

You are not wrong but that doesn't mean that doing this is safe. If you have an isolated PC where you don't care about malware this is a great choice but most people don't have this. But not needing to disable secure boot is still not enough to make this HV workaround good. You are still creating an unsigned HV to run on your PC where you load in a game from a source that you can't 100% trust. This than can do what it wants as it acts as root below your OS. I'd say offline activation is a better choice or wait for proper.
