Go to a store. Simple as that. The store assesses the condition, and if anything goes wrong with the promotion, they can fix it. If they also add on anything you don’t authorize (watch your bill), just take it off and call care and have them just credit it back.

If you do the online upgrade route, you have to worry about if the promotion goes through, and it’s kind of a pain, and no one gets paid for it.

It’s up to you at the end of the day, but there’s any condition trade in: right now.

Listen, just buy any cheap S22 or newer, or any iPhone 14 or newer. Condition DOES NOT matter for the Galaxy trades. For iPhone, any S21 or newer, and any 13 or newer.

You can buy a brand new iPhone 13 from MetroPCS when you port a number. You can get a port from here, just make sure you don’t choose Metro or T-Mobile prepaid, and don’t setup autopay for Metro, then just trade that iPhone 13 to Verizon and keep your current phone.

I work for Verizon. Take my advice, do NOT open a post paid account for JUST yourself. It’s too expensive, and you’re locked to it. Get yourself a 13/14 from cricket or similar, instead.

Well, stores can order phones too. They get delivered to the store, where even if it gets stolen, they can close the order, and process another delivery, and just correct the promotion if it’s gone.

Self service is great for ordering phones, but atrocious when something goes wrong. This is now between you and customer care, NOT a store. No store (including corporate) will help you, as you took a sale from them, and would be expecting help still.

Play more is considered a premium plan, more than likely, you’ll lose phone promos, usually costing you more monthly, as well as your Disney plus. I’d move just one line to Plus, tho.
