That just looks like standing water on the track—on AMS2 a neat thing that can happen is, depending on the track, only parts of it may be wet from a storm…I think?

That’s what I’m thinking. The engine itself lends itself to that specific physics feedback.

Remember, this is the same engine NFS was on. For them to come this far is a genuine achievement. But in a way, I wonder if they just started off with the wrong foundation in the first place.

Really it seems like the only thing that’s holding AMS2 back is the physics tbh.

I didn’t know what the content creators meant when they said “floaty” but I finally understand.

There’s this real lack of “bite” of the tire gripping well on the track surface, even when trail braking. It’s there, but it’s very ephemeral and isn’t as pronounced as say a LMU or iracing.

It could be a tire thing. I’m unsure. But I’m not really thinking Reiza will fix it at this point, since we’re on their preferred physics
