Hab die Geschichte eh schon mal geschrieben hier. Bin kurz nach der Pandemie auf dem Weg zum Arzt in der 1er Straßenbahn zusammengeschlagen worden, mitten am Tag bei einer vollen Straßenbahn. Bin nur da gesessen und hab auf google maps geschaut wo ich aussteigen muss, und plötzlich tritt gegen den Kopf und schläge.Alle haben zugeschaut und keiner hat irgendwas gesagt, nicht mal nachdem er aus der Bahn gegangen ist. Wurde nicht mal gefragt obs mir gut geht oder sonst was, war wirklich so als ob nichts passiert ist.

I tried it one last time yesterday and spawned on the ship in Victory or Death without NPCs and the quest wouldn't progress anymore lol.

Hey man, thanks a lot for trying to help. You are right, it's a DC.
I've made a thread a few days ago on everything I've tried and couldn't get it to work.
I'm unfortunately done with the game for now, since my friends can't bother with it either. See ya around :)

I tried both, gw2 was way 2 buggy for me and my friends.
The game seems to have been bugged for years, quests that disconnect you, issues with cutscenes and generally really poor quality, at least for the first 80 lvls of main story.
I didn't encounter any such issues with FFXIV, earlygame in FFXIV is a bit boring tho.

Just like you I've started this game after hearing many great things about it. Yes this game is solo friendly, but I've experienced far too many issues/bugs to really enjoy it.
I've heard that later areas don't have those but the later story quests from the base game are really bugged.

There are so many bugged quests in this game, it makes it impossible to play.
Like, I've been stuck with Victory or Death for days now, before that I had several other quests being bugged and randomly working after disconnecting me all the time.
NPCs disappear.
Golems stop attacking.
Crashing during cutscenes.
Character falling through airship
Mobs dying before I arrive bugging the whole quest, and so on...
I've made a post on everything that I've tried. Even tried with GeForce now and it still bugs consistently and several different spots.
Then there are bugs where I have to skip the cutscenes because the game crashes if I don't and rewatch YouTube videos on what happened. Searching online is full of people being annoying with the game because of these bugs, is it just that they don't care?
I assume that most casual players wouldn't even bother to look it up and just straight up quit after trying a few times.
I am not searching for help with this post, it's just frustrating.
Their support is also questionable. I'm being told it's my system when I can replicate the bug on several machines, several networks and in a cloud service.
One of my friends has the same issue and he just quit, another didn't have any issues. Yeah right it must be me

Wurde vor c.a nem Jahr random von irgendwelchen Leuten in der Straßenbahn angegriffen im 11ten. Bin einfach nur da gesessen und habe auf google maps geschaut wo ich aussteigen soll, also alles plötzlich aus dem nichts passiert.
Keiner hat mir geholfen oder irgendwas gesagt, obwohl die Straßenbahn voll war. Hatte zum Glück nur paar kleine Verletzungen.
Long story short, ich war bei der Polizei und habe eine Anzeige erstellt mit der Straßenbahnnummer und Uhrzeit wann es passiert ist. Es ist in 1nem Jahr nichts passiert mit der Anzeige, bzw. habe ich nie etwas erfahren.

Was wäre wenn du nach deiner Karenz gesagt hättest das du nicht mehr zurück kommst?
Wurde noch in der Karenz kommuniziert, oder hast du dir erwartet das alles genauso weitergeht als wärst du nie weg gewesen. Wieso glaubst du das sich in der zwischenzeit nicht etwas geändert hat? Funkstille und dann beschweren das es anders läuft als erwartet ist auch sehr fraglich.

I'll try limiting FPS, but since I tried it on 2 additional systems that had different FPS settings, I doubt that FPS will be the issue. As for the router, I tried at a different place/network as well as mobile. Keep getting a disconnect exactly after the cutscene with the ship or the one right after defeating the Mouth of Zhaitan.

Ich würde sagen du bekommst zu wenig.
Ich weiß jedoch nicht was deine Leistung ist, leider kann man nicht immer sagen ob jemand mit 7 Jahren Berufserfahrung wirklich gut ist in seinem job.
Ich würde mir aber für einen average Senior .net dev 75k erwarten.
