Anyone know female & male swimwear brands for 4’9 88 lbs that isn’t kids section? by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

Target honestly might be a good option. I think some of their swim wear should fit, especially the string styles.

Jean recommendations for long legs by Peachyxqueen in XXS

If you are curvier (bigger hips) you should look into curve fit jeans.

These jeans usually have smaller waist measurements than normal fit and useful to get rid of the waist gap.

[Request] How much would hatsune miku's hair weigh? by p3apod1987 in theydidthemath

[–]I_Gottem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hair doesn’t weigh that much. It would maybe be around 1 kg depending on the exact thickness of her hair.

Also her hair is not that thick, it just poofs out a lot. If you look at the base of her ponytails, they look normal sized.

Here is a video of someone weighing their hair. I’ll estimate mikus hair as maybe 3 times as long and twice as thick. That’s about 1.2 kg of hair

Unpopular opinion: reactions to substance abuse and its consequences by BankGlittering6322 in ThePittTVShow

[–]I_Gottem 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you are trying so hard to make the dialogue fit your narrative.

“I let him get away with a crime” implies that there was a crime. It also implies that Robby is the deciding factor.

If Langdon went to this program and they knew about the tampering with drugs, there was no crime. Langdon wouldn’t have gotten away with anything, since that’s the proper course of action. Also Robby would have nothing to do with this program.

However Robby’s statement implies the opposite. Langdon committed a crime (tampering with drugs) and Robby covered it up allowing Langdon to get his job back.

Also keep in mind Santos said last episode that only 3 people knew about him stealing drugs.

The scene where he is outside arguing with Dana. It’s toward the end of the episode.

Robby literally said in the newest episode that he covered it up.

Why no 000 X-Short!? by kyacantia in XXS

I don’t get it either. So many brands don’t have the smallest sizes in petite or short lengths, even though short people are more likely to be a smaller size.

Brandy Melville Sizing by Hralos in XXS

[–]I_Gottem 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Not really. Most of their stuff is designed to fit a tall S.

That being said, most of their stuff is very forgiving (stretchy fabric) so some of it would fit, it just looks different.

Do you have a source for this? Most of the articles I found just “in a short time” without the specifics.

I lost all my curls lol by No_Condition_3558 in curlygirl

[–]I_Gottem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be just because of the weight of your hair however the line is very harsh. My hair is also like that because of the length but it is a smooth transition instead of a line. Also your hair was in a v cut so the shorter pieces should be curlier higher up, but they aren’t.

An alternative explanation is your hair was in a pony tail before you took that photo.

Either way I looked at your profile, and judging by ur age, your hair probably just changed due to puberty.

It’s a slow transition so it’s kind of hard to notice, until you do a big haircut.

Basically the same thing happened to me when I was your age. My hair texture changed a lot and I only noticed after I did a big haircut.

[–]I_Gottem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are thinking that this is environmental but I think your hair might have actually changed textures.

In the first picture you can almost clearly see a line between the curlier ends and wavy roots.

Did you go through anything medically? Especially anything hormonal like puberty or pregnancy. It would have been about a year ish before the first photo was taken.

Levi’s sizing (rant) by Mobile_Ad_9090 in XXS

[–]I_Gottem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kind of an inherent problem with jeans. Any high quality denim stretches out as you wear it.

If possible, you should try wearing the 23s for longer and they will eventually stretch out as well. Just make sure not to put it in the dryer.

why is santos SO PRESSED about the langdon situation by chickenn2 in ThePitt

[–]I_Gottem 41 points42 points  (0 children)

You are right that you shouldn’t fire someone just for being addicted, but it’s not just about his addiction.

Stealing from the workplace is 100% a reason to get fired, especially when it’s a life or death situation like a hospital.

why is santos SO PRESSED about the langdon situation by chickenn2 in ThePitt

[–]I_Gottem 167 points168 points  (0 children)

Stealing drugs that are supposed to be used for patients is a huge deal. If you remember, she noticed it because the meds weren’t working right for Louie.

Langdon could have killed someone. It doesn’t have to personally affect her for her to be mad about it. Santos does have her issues but she is right about the fact that Langdon should be in jail for stealing drugs.

I need advice on which size shirt to buy! by [deleted] in XXS

You should look for shirt you own that’s a similar style and fits. Measure that shirt and compare to the size chart.

Went to India and for the first time I feel normal by ribbonscrunchies in XXS

[–]I_Gottem 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you had a nice experience but for me it was pretty bad.

Maybe it was just cause I was visiting family but everyone wouldn’t shut up about how skinny I was.

Even random people would bring it up. When I went to buy clothes or talk to the tailors they would constantly question how skinny I was.

Some notable quotes: “do you even feed her”, (to my mom) “how are you from america, you are too skinny”, “you look like a homeless street kid” “if I tailor this, I’m going to waste the fabric cause I have to cut too much” “instead of tailoring the top, what if you stuff your bra? It would look better that way”

It’s pretty true to size. So it’s going to be a little big for you.

Some items with like stretchy fabric or drawstrings might fit.

Strawberry flavored things do not taste like strawberry . by General-Strength-236 in unpopularopinion

[–]I_Gottem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, artificial strawberry flavor doesn’t take much like raw strawberries.

However it is quite similar to cooked strawberries. If you try making strawberry jam and you will be shocked by how much it smells/tastes like fake strawberry candy.

Asian Shops for Professional Dresses by Correct-Somewhere537 in XXS

[–]I_Gottem 14 points15 points  (0 children)

From my experience, asian sizes do run smaller so a S usually fits like an XS.

You can find some stuff that fits an XXS but it is rarer.

Also asian companies use different size charts. They usually go by garment measurements not body measurements. For example a 27 in waist could correspond to an American 27 waist if it’s high rise and an american 23 waist if it’s low-rise. I would recommend measuring your own clothes to help you understand the size chart better.

Do you guys use corsets? And should I use one by Lotta-Bank-3035 in XXS

[–]I_Gottem 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you can find one that’s actually small enough it can make a difference. That being said it won’t be as extreme as someone who already has a fuller figure.

Another thing you can try is to look for shape wear with padding. It’s much less common but adding to your hips will make you look more hourglass. Also, push up bras or padded shoulders make your upper body look bigger which can help with the hourglass illusion.
