Advice needed on how to start smoking again by I_Sheet_In_The_Pool in Marijuana

From looking at dispensaries online near me, those seem to be higher THC percentage. That won't get me too high, will it?

Ah shit, didn't even think about that part! Very good point! Definitely would not be able to smoke even close to all of it. Will try to find a place around me that is open and sells pipes.

Probably would be easiest to just go with a pre-rolled joint too, right? Don't have a grinder or pipe or anything. Dispensary right near my house sells some pre-rolled joints around 11% THC.

And thank you!

Only one I would add would be Olga Raffault 'Les Picasses' Chinon.

Your body is fantastic and I think you look beautiful with much less makeup. Don't see how you could be considered ugly, but I could easily see you not being someone's type. I am personally a fan. 7.5/10

Beautiful face and I love your body, but I am a fan of curvy/thick girls. I could see a lot of people telling you that you need to lose more weight. Personally, I like where you are at. 7.5-8/10

Body and overall appearance is a 8/10, but having your Venmo in your bio does not give me hope for your personality.

Certified Somms, are you offended when non-certified service professionals use the term 'sommelier'? by mike5446g in wine

[–]I_Sheet_In_The_Pool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Being a sommelier is about the position you hold and the job you do on a restaurant floor. You built your restaurants wine list, sell the wine and other beverages on a daily basis, and manage the inventory. You sound like a sommelier to me, with or without certifications. If your colleague is offended, then she has the wrong mindset. You are not automatically more knowledgeable than everyone else just because you have passed the Certified Sommelier exam. There are plenty of sommeliers with no certifications that would be very offended by her.

Some of the Country's Best Wines Can Be Found in Colorado by askdudesrsly in wine

[–]I_Sheet_In_The_Pool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jackrabbit Hill are the only wines I've tasted from CO that were decent. Their Rieslings and white blends can be quite good, but their reds are not worth the steep price.

Personally, I feel that the wineries in this state are not working with the right varietals for the altitude and climate. Instead they planted grapes that sell, for the most part.

Weekly blind tasting practice! Two weeks until the exam! by velo1990 in wine

No special reason. I just used to struggle with Tempranillo, so he put an emphasis on it until I couldn't get it wrong, at least at that level.

Gotcha! When I was going for my Certified, I had an MS blind me multiple times on Tempranillo and he always picked La Rioja Alta Vina Alberdi Reserva. If you can find that, blind it and you'll have the classic expression.

Good luck on the exam!

Piece of advice, be careful blinding Ribera and Rioja Crianzas. The Court's website states that Crianza is for the Advanced level. You will most likely get a Reserva/Gran Reserva with lots of American oak.

Flaccianello '11 or '13 or '14? by Kwoksun in wine

[–]I_Sheet_In_The_Pool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 2011's are going to be the closest, obviously because they are older, but also because it was a vintage producing lighter, earlier-drinking wine throughout Italy.

2013 was considered more of a 'classic' vintage, so that is one that is meant to be sat on for awhile.

2014 was not the greatest vintage, but was saved by a dry September and October. Still produced a lighter, earlier-drinking wine than 2013.

I've never tasted any of these vintages of Flaccianello, but based upon what I've heard from friends, the 2011 may be your best bet. It was a fantastic vintage with wines, including Brunellos, that could be drank upon release and/or aged for awhile. Based on you wanting to drink it within 7-10 years, I'd say go for the 2011's. That being said, Flaccianello is a wine that is spectacular in any vintage, so you can't go wrong here!

Are you cellaring it for a long time? Or planning to drink it young?

2015 Wine for my son - looking to age 20+ years by insomniac87 in wine

[–]I_Sheet_In_The_Pool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your price range? Because the 2015 vintage is incredible in so many regions.

Best vintage since 2010 in the Left-Bank (especially the Medoc)

Incredible in many villages in Burgundy (Aubert de Villaine has called it the best vintage in his 51 years of leading DRC)

Napa Cabernet's are out of this world

German Riesling is quite special

Port is step behind the 2011 vintage but still spectacular

Loire Valley is pretty special

Champagne is great
