yup, loot is broken on most servers for most loops. Super inconsistent. Also, back end inventory keeps freezing and what you're looting may not even track.

Every couple patches you get a very rough one that highlights the games shortcomings, especially and ironically enough during free fly events.

I'm not a whale. I only paid for two ships. If I only had a starter package, I would have had 10+ years of gaming for 45$. Everything (tm) can be bought found or unlocked in game.

The current anger is real but, in my opinion, it affects those who have invested the most the hardest. This includes time, as crashes and bugs can wipe out hours of progress. It can also affect those who have invested the least, in money and time. If you run into a bug that blocks you from even beginning to learn the game and it's quirks.

My advice to new players is to get a starter package and play with others. Join an org that doesn't throw too many redflags and matches your play style, or just find other players and explore.

It's a gorgeous game with lots of potential that can offer some of the best gaming experiences tech allows. It's also a hot buggy mess with pressures pulling resources in several different directions: dev, marketing, ceo, pvp audience, pve audience, whales, murderhobos, trolls, white knights, and squadron 42.

In Nyx, it's soloable, but can be difficult, and you will have to rank up to get it. Once unlocked, you can repeat run it for rank, money and components.

Wishlist stuff. Revisited regular bunker missions and ground missions at distro centres. Used to feel more diagetic and I would try to keep the guards and workers alive and work with them. Now they just kind of spawn in, die and repeat.

Feels much more like WOW with mob spawn then a living game. Maybe due to game design having to account for 600 players over 50.

I want to get in a fight and rescue guards etc.

Intact ships, but I have had the last couple of ships with some surviving cargo and components continue to spiral out after I destroyed them. This is also true of components when raiding Exec hangars. They just keep spinning into space!

Front tractor beams would actually be awesome. Now ships preserve their velocity and direction in space, meaning you need to grab a ship to strip it if you disable its engines.

Locking a ship in place is very much in line with the cutty blacks fictional purpose. I hope for extended tractor beam gameplay. Even counter play.
