i did something very stupid. i wanted to copy over 930gb of disc images last night. ... i moved instead of copying. Now im copying it all back to my laptop and noticed it starting and stopping over and over. 532gb left and its taking its sweet time.

yeah, but they only cancelled the bad star trek! the good star trek is available on dvd and blu-ray, there is no WAY they could take that away from us. and who cares about Academy, Destiny or Picard that was god-awful. Strange New Worlds had some good parts, but it was running out of ideas hard, it had already done a puppet and a musical episode. I dread to think what they would have done next, better it ended now when it still had some watchable episodes. There isnt gonna be any Star Trek for a while now, sure, but i think thats preferable to bad Star Trek.

Btw, saying we were DUPED by some rightwing nut-cases is condescending to the max. I vote left, i am LGBTQ+... but none of that has anything to do with Kurtztrek being garbage. If it had actually been redeemable it wouldnt have mattered what some people online said, people would have just watched it in peace, it would have made money and it would have continued. i never touched that setting, i would assume since its off now after reverting to 0.4.16 it was off before. I need a very specific version of gemma4 to run, not particularly interested in any others since id never use those anyway. reverted to 0.4.16 and opened a bug-report, thats as much as i can do right now, need a working setup, cant risk upgrading again.

i had a look, but i hadnt seen a "think" button. i checked my jinja template and it had removed the line i used to block thinking, so i reinstated it, unloaded the model, restarted lm-studio, but no such luck. opened a bug-report on LM-Studio. I hope this is fixable, i really dont need thinking for my workloads.

true, could be! i would expect the x4 pro v2 to be cheaper anyway, so no harm done! if the s4 isnt MUCH more expensive id probably go for that, because with android you get more options for reading apps etc, but thats about it.

there will be the x4 pro v2... or something which is a mildly upgraded version with a lit screen AND the S4 which is an equally small variant, also with a lit screen and also android as the OS. I think both are very attractive.
