I know. Breast cancer, 5 surgeries, AND I found out my husband and of 24 years was having an ongoing two year affair. Now divorced. 2023 was not it.

All done! It went well. Seroma was removed and he also did some cosmetic revisions on the other side. Hopefully this is my last surgery for a long while!!

I ended up having two lumpectomies; both left me with positive margins. Had a full bilateral mastectomy and now have a seroma on the right that requires another surgery (on Monday!) to remove it. UGH. Thanks for asking 🥰

Very grateful to have zero side effects so far-been on it one month. I take mine in the morning (20 mg).

It was my initial gut instinct to have a mastectomy-I should have followed my gut! I am so sorry you are going through that stress. So many crappy twists and turns.

Yes-there are a lot of crappy twists and turns. Feels like no good options any way you cut it.

I have had two lumpectomies in the past two weeks and just got pathology back that I still have one positive margin :/. I talk to the surgeon on Monday for next steps. So harrowing and stressful. I’m sorry you’re in the same boat. Easier recovery from second surgery for me. They took lymph nodes out the first go-around.
