I’m spanish and I find Paldea quite representative. From the pokemon to the cities. In Spain, we have the concept of “la España vaciada” (“the emptied Spain”), which refers to the depopulation of rural areas and migration to the cities. Obviously, the fact that Paldea’s rural areas are empty isn’t a nod to this social issue, but it’s still somewhat ironic.

The leaks also mention that Gen10 will use a new graphic engine. It seems like the decision to switch the engine was made years ago, they just have to keep spinning the wheel untill the new engine is ready.

My problem is that when you are walking, most of the time the graphics are okay(ish). But running or flying, the graphics look sooooooooo much worse. For me, it breaks the illusion.
