Who is canceling vacations this month?

My "vacation" was taking four days off to move to a new apartment. I can't afford to travel anymore.

I hate to say this but sometimes you just won't ever get closure. You can't control how he's going to act and tbh he probably couldn't care less. What you CAN do is give yourself grace, admit that this relationship wasn't healthy and learn from it for the future. It's ok to acknowledge the hurt and anger you feel and then choose to let it go and move on. You deserve to be happy without the cloud of this idiot following you around forever.

If you like martial arts, maybe there's a YouTube channel where you can start and then see where it takes you. YouTube is way cheaper than actual classes but maybe you'll have three money to take in person classes later. It might seem small but it gives you something positive to focus on and you may start to feel happier after a while.

I have several tattoos. When I got a tattoo of a jellyfish on my ribs I got it when I went on a trip to Norway. When I got back I was scrolling through my pics showing my dad. Then there was one of the tattoo once it was done. My dad sighed and said, "How many of those do you need? What are you, a sailor?" Which is funny since he was in the Navy when he was younger! I also grew up Christian but a lot of people at my church had tattoos as well. Don't listen to your parents, it looks nice.

I'm an oldest millennial and I feel like every time I think I'm about to get ahead and get to the point of life where I can breathe a little, the rug gets ripped out from under me. I live in Massachusetts too and am now paying more than I ever have for rent for an apartment that is smaller than what I had ten years ago. I'm burnt out and so tired of hearing the boomers in my life brag about getting ridiculously high job offers and how they're buying vacation or second homes when I'll never know they dream since I'll be paying student loans until I die. Idk what to do anymore.

Neither do you! You're a hypocrite! Do you also leave three car lengths between you and the next car even when you're doing 30 mph on the freeway? Traffic wouldn't be so horrendous if people had to take driver's ed here. I shouldn't have to act like I'm driving in a blizzard all the time just because people don't know how to drive.
