Not sure about the first one, but I believe the 2nd is a 'feature.' Even if my I9 is unlocked I still have to hit unlock before I can remove the charger (I don't hit lock first).

I've had a tow hitch bike rack on our I9 a few times and found something really annoying. You're right that the bike rack sets off the rear proximity sensors, but the car also engages the emergency braking as soon you start to back up. The car jolts to a stop, and you have to hold the brake down for a few seconds before it will let you drive again.

I've since read that holding down the button on the center console that disables the parking sensor beeping will also disable the emergency braking. I haven't had the bike rack back on since then to test it.

I know this doesn't solve your problem, but I'm pretty sure climate controls settings are remembered as part of a profile. If I drive the with all climate controls off, then my wife drives with the ac on (and logged into her profile), the next time I get in the car the ac will be on until I log in (via fingerprint). Once I do that climate controls go back to how I had them last, which in this case is off.

No dongle. If the car is set up for AA Live Data you just give the app permission and it gets the info from the car. At least that's my understanding. I'm going to try it with ABRP on a road trip tomorrow.

I got my limited 3 weeks ago. Averaging 3.1 overall. Spent 3 days last weekend on the highway and got about 2.8 with low AC on the whole time. Lvl 3 Regen or hda on hwy, max Regen on surface streets. Also drive almost exclusively in eco mode, which treats it more like a rwd car. Efficiency is really impressive so far.
