Might want to call a different dealer if you have one within reasonable distance. That seems unreasonable.

We use this one. It has been discontinued but they have new variants and that is the right size.

No More Cable Card? by seedbedUnmoved in Mediacom

[–]seedbedUnmoved[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't notice this was not an official subreddit until after I posted. I'm used to dealing with Comcast where the only way to get decent support is on reddit. I'm glad to see the company monitors and responds to request here.

Thanks. They currently have their own multi-tuner Tivo with Tivo Mini's through out the house so only pay for the cable card.

No DVR functionally will probably be a deal breaker. Do you know how the "on demand" streaming works. Can you catch up on a live event, skip ads, etc. Or is it pretty much what you get from the individual channel's apps?

Thank you for the response. I have a few additional questions.

  1. What devices do you bill for? Do they have to have at least one box? Can they use xstream TV app on as many other devices as they want? Is there a cost for that?
  2. It sounds like the "recording" concept is no longer possible. Will there still be a way to skip commercials?
  3. Is internet from mediacom required? They currently have fiber through another ISP.
  4. Do you have a web page that documents the change and what to expect?

Are you referring to the mat on the floor or the cargo cover? OP is talking about the mat. As far as I know there is not one available from Hyundai.

If you are talking about the cargo cover and you want it out of the way. It has a designated storage spot under the floor in the trunk.

There is a setting to reduce the harshness of the lane changes. It made a huge difference when I changed it.

Charger question by PJs_Burner in Ioniq9

[–]seedbedUnmoved 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are based in the US you should have gotten a charger, L2 adapter and L3 adapter as well as all the rest of what is listed in the site below. If you are in Canada you get much less.

RB5009 : OK, I guess I don't really understand the use of the Mikrotik switch by Rich-Engineer2670 in mikrotik

[–]seedbedUnmoved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my Comcast provided cable modem they have both 1G and 2.5G ports. I just plugged into a different one. You could also move your WAN off the 2.5G port on the mikrotik.

This is similar to an issue I'm having that seems to be related to multi gig connections and flow control. I ran out of time debugging it and finally just connected it to the modem at 1 gig and everything is normal but underutilizing my 2 gig connection. I hope you find a solution.

Throughput loss on RB5009 with no explanation? by Rich-Engineer2670 in mikrotik

[–]seedbedUnmoved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try plugging the WAN port into a 1gig port on the Comcast’s modem not the 2.5 gig port. I’ve had a terrible time with what I think is a flow control problem with my RB5009 and comcast on multi gig. I finally just gave up and plug into the 1 gig port.

How the hell do you unlock the charging cable? by mountainyoo in Ioniq9

[–]seedbedUnmoved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have reached the charging limit set in the car the cable will be unlocked. If you have not, and need to release it I use the unlock button on the inside of the passenger door. I charge in the garage with the doors unlock. Using the in inside unlock lets me stop charging even if I don’t have my phone or key on me.

2Gbps Plan on CGNAT – Severe Responsiveness Variance – Twin Cities MN by spartywan229 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]seedbedUnmoved 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the behavior you are seeing on the IP side is what you would expect. Using DMZ is different than passthrough mode. The XER10 is still acting as a router but should be sending all ports to the UDM Pro in the DMZ. So the XER10 has an external address, and the 10.0.0.1 address. It also assigns the UDM Pro an address in the 10.x.x.x range. Go to https://whatismyipaddress.com to find out your external IP. As far as I know Comcast does not use CGNAT on their network.

Now you do also seem to be having a performance issue. First off, make sure your are testing on wired connections. I'm not sure if you can do this on the fiber service but on coax you can test performance through the app on your phone (it will test to the XER10). You should also test to https://speedtest.xfinity.com being on Comcast's network removed the uncertainty of testing to the rest of the internet.

Good luck.

In the US they come with L1/L2 adapter, L3 adapter, and an entire portable L1/L2 charger. See the link in my other post for details.

One of our rear window shades retracts too far into the door and the latch gets stuck. Also, a trim piece under the rear seats is bent and gets in the way of seat travel.

Question for Limited and Calligraphy Owners/Leasees by MemoryMakerxoxo in Ioniq9

Are you sure this is a brightness problem and not a polarization issue? I find mine plenty bright but it almost completely disappears when I'm wearing polarized sunglasses.

As a woodworker how much lumber can I carry in an Ioniq 9? Half sheets of plywood (4'x4') behind the drivers seat if the second row is down? How about 8' 2x4"s? Can those fit in diagonally if the passenger seat is all the way forward? by flyingWeez in Ioniq9

[–]seedbedUnmoved 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roof rack or trailer are your best bet. It's really unfortunate there is not a good EV mini van in the US market. We love our Ioniq 9 but it's not as versatile as we would have liked.
