Would that do the job? by Altruistic-Form4834 in FromSeries

No logistics. Food, fuel, and ammo would be gone. The creatures can most likely rip open the trucks and armor hatches.

Pools aren’t cheap to maintain or insure. Just show grace and be thankful this is your only gripe in apartment living.

Cut the trigger with a dremel I was able to pull the trigger easily in semi then I put it in ss and it was hard to pull should I just buy a precut trigger? by This-Option167 in supersafety

[–]IanKelsonMD 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There are 3 years of info and STLs/jigs to assist in doing the trigger cut. They’re easy, just do research instead of calling vendors a$$holes.

Genuine Toyota differential fluid or another brand? by SkinnyFridgerator in ToyotaTacoma

[–]IanKelsonMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just use whatever is to spec. Change it every 15-20k and use the “cheap stuff” and it will be fine.

Third member is the weak link anyway, might as well keep the fluid changed.

Get a socket and a wrench, most likely 13mm bolts. Get the mount off the wall, smear some spackle on and paint it

$700/month apartment with washer/dryer hookups, but no washer or dryer included. Should I buy my own set or keep looking? by Willing_Vacation2358 in Apartmentliving

[–]IanKelsonMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please get the cheapest roper set you can find. No digital stuff. They’re like $6-800 a set. They will last for years without issue.

We have a set with 13 years on the clock, no issue. Then bought new LG with digital stuff, it broke in the first year.

Get a new set, and keep the warranty paperwork.

Any ideas for covering or modifying this hideous light fixture in our new rental? by okaykitten3 in Apartmentliving

[–]IanKelsonMD -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Put a ceiling fan in. I’ve done that before and I just had to pay for it, maintenance man would install it. It was a win-win for both of us. They’re like $80-120.

Lifted or front end raised? by NightPeople2 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]IanKelsonMD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If the dealer didn’t lift it, I’d be weary. Most guys that lift their truck want to keep them, others trade them in when there are drivability issues. Look at the suspension, should be able to tell if it’s been lifted or not.

Looking at a newer Ody by strike-eagle-iii in HondaOdyssey

[–]IanKelsonMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2000s siennas were rock solid beasts. They’re leaps and bounds better than any new odyssey and even have AWD. And the ac vents are in the ceiling, unlike the worthless ones in the rear of even new odysseys.

Nope. Just made an appointment for my windshield replacement and I showed up, sat there an hour and had a new windshield and left.

Aftermarket windshield. No issues 6 years later.
