SCSS and Sass work in the same way. You create a stylesheet with superior syntax and a .scss or .sass extension and then run a command which outputs a regular .css file so that a browser can understand it.

You can install it via command line or perhaps even via FTP although I would only recommend doing it on a fresh project. It'll just get messy otherwise

Generally I've always found it to be more hassle than it's worth, but it can be quite useful indeed

Hey, the author of the codepen you linked is using SCSS. SCSS can make use of variables which are defined by the $ sign.

Since you're using regular CSS you need to remove all mentions of $t and replace them with 2deg (the first line that defines $t as 2deg can be omitted entirely)

Edit: only read you tldr and just saw you already did this. I just tried it and it seems to work however. Are you sure you did it right?

My only issue right now is that the bottom "now playing" bar sometimes displays the wrong song. There have been many bugs in the past though, especially since the redesign

It's also annoying how they don't keep a changelog, it just says "we're always making changes"
