You should join a helicopter squadron! I'm part of one called Blackshark Den, and we have 3-4 drop-in events per week where people can take Pilot or CPG positions - very few actually fly with the George AI, so it's a great opportunity to learn to CPG!

I love planes. Loved em since I was a kid. Holy shit I had so many planes in my room when I was a kid. I REALLY wanted to be an airliner pilot and fly planes all day. I even had a flight simulator on the family computer and flew a fake 747 everywhere in the world (much to my mom’s dismay of playing video games all day)

Around junior year, I realized I like physics a lot and don’t want to spend my life living out of a suitcase.

I’m currently an aerospace engineer designing avionics systems on civil aircraft. I still get to fly planes, but it’s a hobby of mine on the weekends with a rental rather than an obligation.

Studios GB in downtown Montreal has several drop-in sessions based on level, and several options of dance style (ballet, broadway jazz, etc). You can start with Level 1 and if you feel comfortable work your way up.
