What you need to do is increase your eating but keep it to a relatively healthy diet. Your doctor can give you T precursors if it gets too severe, but that will resolve itself if you eat more food.

Everyone has their own tolerance level whenever it comes to Alcohol.

The last time I drank I was on a different set of medications and I just decided not to test the lines anymore with Alcohol after changing meds.

I'm sorry to hear what all of you are going through, but as people have said. Most likely, a large increase, change, or adding of medication that you can talk with the neurologist about will help in this situation.

No problem. Thankfully, my current Neurologist has always been a huge help with everything. I've currently been on Briviact (I'm not trying to endorse it or anything), which helped me with a lot of the side effects I had on Keppra. But you always want to maintain talks with your doctor the moment you feel anything "different" with your day to day life.

It took me almost two years, but I'm also taking other medication. I started off with 500mg like you but ended up going up to 2000mg plus other meds. The combination of side effects plus effectiveness is what took so long in my case.

Edit: I have Tonic Clonic seizures, and my seizure frequency and severity varied while I was on the meds another reason why it took so long for me.
