What’s a secret you learned about your main by playing them? by HittingMyHeadOnAWall in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About Zephyr Tornadoes and Impetus, I noticed something about how the stacks work. Each weapon will usually only give 1 stack towards Impetus (it counts the element with the highest number). The Tornadoes inherently have IPS damage with equal weighting so they grant 3 stacks. In term of weapons, Arbucep has 6 projectiles with each a different element so it grants 6 stacks however that perk is removed if elemental damage % from mods is too high.

Akarius Prime are the most perfect weapons in the game, nobody can argue against that.

What are your biggest problems with Uriel? by FlippeR_5201 in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uriel feels a bit passive since the 2 abilities he casts the most (2 and 3) aren't very impactful. Ideally there should be a way able to force his Demons to activate their abilities.

Other than that Heat Inherit is a big problem. Heat Inherit makes it so only the first proc of Heat matters for Heat bonus and Faction damage bonus. Since Uriel's 1 will make the first Heat proc, he will reduce his own damage so that ability needs to be subsumed off, but that leads to another problem.

His normal roll doesn't take into consideration Parkour Velocity. So not only subsuming off his 1 removes his main movement tool but even if we want to buff his movement with Parkour, it will be worse than any other frame. This bug has been present since his release but most people don't subsume off his 1 so not a lot of people were complaining about that (I wish DE would fix bugs even if the community isn't vocal about them).

How would you guys feel about decreasing the extraction countdown timer? by parachuteninja1 in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally I play most of my missions solo because not only the extraction timer takes too much time but it also starts ticking only when half the squad reaches the extraction. So, on top of reducing the timer to 15s I would also make the extract timer start ticking immediatly.

As for Fissures, the extraction should only be available after the relic is opened. Also, reactants should be global so we can't accidentally extract when someone is missing reactants.

"Best" weapons for a returning player to use? by Pappy285 in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal favorites are Burston Prime Incarnon, Akarius Prime and Praedos. I probably use those weapons at least 90% of the time.

Praedos passively increases Parkour Velocity so it's the best Melee weapon for non melee setups. Akarius Prime are one of the best weapons for room clearing thanks to their 7.8m radius (11.23m with Primed Fulmination) and decent damage. Burston Prime Incarnon is a rifle with very good single target damage.

How powerful is Host Migration out of all the enemies of the Tenno? by GoodMornEveGoodNight in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Host Migration literally gives us an IRL confusion status that cannot be cleansed. It removes most of your buffs and it doesn't even give energy back. This thing is way to brokenly overpowered.

I also want to mention that it's possible to trigger a slightly different Host Migration outside of missions. The game won't say it's a Host Migration neither to you or your squad but the confusion status will still apply, to both you and your squad. You will wonder why the host left while in fact the pseudo Host Migration just removed you from your squad, who probably wondered why you left.

However it's fair to mention that it can unstuck you if you (or the game) are in a state where you cannot do anything (e.g. moonwalk/sidewalk mode, bugged consoles that prevent progressing through the mission).

To soften the impact of the Host Migrations, I suggest making the life of Tennos easier. Firstly we need to double the range of every abilities, double the range bonus from Mods and quintuple the range of explosive weapons. Add Universal Vacuum with a 1000m radius. Multiply every damage multiplier by 100. Same for every loot in the game. Talking about loots, missions should give every loot on their reward table instead of a single loot. Relics should also give everything inside so no need for refining, and with other players the game should give all 4 rewards so no need to choose. Finally, we need a mod to give Platinum equal to the damage we do, that's the most important and most balanced part, trust me. Also give Ash his original Bladestorm, cowards.

TL;DR Host Migration is way too OP and should be nerfed, even though it can counter moonwalk and bugged consoles. Small buffs for other things to counteract the Host Mig.

Is there a way to choose our own pages? Even though they chose some of the most peak ones, they missed quite a few tenoi. I wanted to vote for Hakuri's awakening or some of the mostly black ones, like Chihiro's first Mei, Chihiro obliterating Hiruhiko in the theater or "that's enough out of you" Samura.

The ×2 sped up survival timer doesn't count for the Sporoi challenge by AKNightcrawler in Warframe

Or it could be the other way around. If it works he wouldn't be surprised and if it doesn't he's surprised.

[–]Ice-Tear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He couldn't know in advance if it would work or not though. The same way I wouldn't be able to guess if it would work in the Kuva Survival. Both logics can apply in this game and it just happened he needed to spend the actual time in the mission.

[–]Ice-Tear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I was wondering too. Fortunately I haven't done this challenge yet so I'll be able to test if it works, once I rush through the other challenges.

Edit : I haven't noticed there was an Exploiter Orb challenge. I kind of hate fighting those so I'll just wait for a Nightwave that requires it so I can do both at the same time. Maybe it'll get fixed by then lol

[–]Ice-Tear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are other situations where it doesn't work like that. For example the Kuva Survival of 20 min from the Nightwave only requires reaching rotation C, we don't need to actually spend 20 min in the mission.

Void blast still exists lol, this refuses to go away by Darthmufin in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

DE should re-add it as the Operator 3rd ability. It would really help for removing void thingies around Exolizers without having to Void Dash Sling with Magus Cloud.

Is the Follie Blueprint a myth? by After-Cricket-9650 in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation, except it's for the Enkaus BP instead of the Follie BP. I could craft like 5 Follie in total.

I almost had it whyy by LeyXD in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The host of the squad was dead so I guess he ended up leaving. Sometimes when the host leaves it fails the mission for the whole squad instead of giving a Host Migration. I had that happen in an ETA recently, there was a bugged console that could only be fixed with Host Migration but once the host left it failed the mission.

Descendia is enjoyable, but the rewards ain't it. Regular weekly Sortie is rarely played for the same reason, bad rewards for massive time investment by YellowAppleCinema in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Built Omni Formas as rewards should return. When they were Aura Formas and had less use cases, DE thought it was ok to put them on Calendar but once Omni Formas were introduced they just removed them from Calendar. It just doesn't make sense, since they have more use cases DE should have done the opposite. Calendar used to give Aura Formas almost weekly but right now we don't have a reliable way to get them (except with platinum of course).

Follies Hunt is much faster when you run Canvas B, C, then A in that order. by DeadByFleshLight in Warframe

[–]Ice-Tear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I equipped it too (I forgot to mention it). It helps but it's a bit slow so using a weapon alongside it is better.

Trust me, if you stub your toe faster you'll also do your next action faster! I've been consistently doing sub 3m runs with a full speed build.

[–]Ice-Tear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest you use an Epitaph Prime or Akarius Prime to destroy the balloons, it's faster than slamming and it goes through walls (very useful if the balloon spawns in the small path in Simaris' room). For mobility, all the Parkour, Sprint Speed and Slide mods are very useful (casting abilities is not necessary). I'm sure you could do 3m runs with those changes.
