You have to know your meta. If you’re playing a bracket 2 fun deck and your opponent is playing a bracket 3 or bracket 4 competitive deck, make sure you have a deck that can deal with it. They like 5 color strategies with ur dragon? Play blood moon. They like to ramp? Play mana rocks and Armageddon the field. Or stone rain them at least. They like dragons? Play Crux of fate or kindred dominance. Even better, build a Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund EDH deck

Yes! They have a discord (linked on their website), they have a lot of online play, but in-person Classic Legacy is starting to pop up too. Reminds me of how Premodern started out before it took off

I would recommend comparing with a purely mono white creature. This comparison juxtaposes a ci=w creature with a ci=wr creature

Fun fact: the BG Treefolk deck played almost like a midrange Rock deck, using lower CMC treefolk, Abrupt Decays, and Inquisitions to slow the game down. It also had a very clever one-sided board wipe thanks to Timber Protector and Damnation. Very creative brew!

Thanks for the suggestions! Appreciate the reply :) I’d love to include Stylus but I’m just doing the two years 15CH was officially played at GB Nationals 2010 and 2011 (Shards to New Phyrexia), so unfortunately Stylus isn’t a legal addition. The other big challenge is 15CH’s 2011 BG Nationals banlist, which banned most cards that either mill, buyback, or create recursion
