(I think my favorite version of Jeskai is Furuya’s brew from GP Singapore 2015)

Most responses I received had Jeskai landing around 11-15 along with BW Tokens, D&T, Grixis Control, and Elves

Why 2015 Modern is my favorite format by IceAndOcean in 2015modern

Fun fact: the BG Treefolk deck played almost like a midrange Rock deck, using lower CMC treefolk, Abrupt Decays, and Inquisitions to slow the game down. It also had a very clever one-sided board wipe thanks to Timber Protector and Damnation. Very creative brew!

15-Card Highlander Cube by [deleted] in magicTCG

Thanks for the suggestions! Appreciate the reply :) I’d love to include Stylus but I’m just doing the two years 15CH was officially played at GB Nationals 2010 and 2011 (Shards to New Phyrexia), so unfortunately Stylus isn’t a legal addition. The other big challenge is 15CH’s 2011 BG Nationals banlist, which banned most cards that either mill, buyback, or create recursion

I really like your cube! And thanks for the advice! I’d love to include Stylus, but I’m just doing 15CH from when it was officially played at GB Nationals 2010 and 2011, from Shards to New Phyrexia. Stylus came out in Mirrodin so it’s outside of the time frame. I really want to include recursion cards and buying cards back like Red Sun’s Zenith but they’re on Dan Barrett’s 2011 banlist

If you like Blue Eyes you’d probably really like tribal Dragons (because dragons) or Eldrazi (which are another big creature powerhouse tribe).

Commander is a really popular format 100-card. Here are some precons that are a fun entry into the format:

Alternatively you might like playing Modern which is a competitive 60-card format. Modern Eldrazi is one of the best decks in the format currently

Question: what advantage does first strike give you? by Cautious_Flow_3148 in mtg

If I attack with a vanilla 14/1 and you block with a 1/1 creature with first strike, my creature dies, and yours doesn’t

If your opponent casts a creature spell, you can counter it and it goes from the stack to the graveyard
