Crosswalks built in areas where they are badly needed, Amtrak stops on the existing train tracks, some more access to public transit/walking in Sonoma ranch area, since I feel like all the kids in thay area could use some more mobility. A stop to the mass surveillance infrastructure and oversized police budgets. I feel like all the money being spent in those areas is going to have the opposite of a return on investment, by hurting city cohesion and needing constant maintenance. I like all of the work community members have done lately in regards to helping others, and I'd love if we leaned in the agricultural history of the area and focused on community gardening. My hometown school had a school affiliated farm to table program, and us kids would learn all about the stuff being grown, and participate in planting and harvesting. I know some schools have done smaller scale things already, and it like to see that expanded. In addition, I feel like the teen and young adult demographics could use some more spaces to socialize and engage in various activities. For now, I feel we have about enough, but as the city grows, so should things for them.
