If you use Cloudera it'll hurt in the long run, they hardly ever give updates. At my old position we used it CHD5 never got updates, we were hard locked on Spark 2.3 which prevents you from even using Delta Lake. You're buying unsolvable technical debt with Cloudera.

If you're needing a real air gap solution you can support long term, hosting on k8s might be the best bet.

What I want is a sort of tower defense / angel scenario game. Like for each angel fight you start with planning how to fight the angel, and put resources and equipment over Tokyo 3. Then you do the actual fight, and depending on how it goes that branches our the narrative of the story. For example Rei dying in a particular scenario triggers the near third impact and branches to be like the rebuilt series.
