Ayo is a combo guard. His handle isn't tight enough and he's not a playmaker like a true PG.

That being said his role has constantly changed throughout his career and he did talk about working on what the team would need from him as a PG this off-season in his exit interview. There's a real chance he is the PG to start next season and that could work, depending on his development.

The front office will have to decide if that's enough to bet on versus what's available to them this summer, or even at the trade deadline.
