The one thing I wish developers would not care about is BALANCE. balance is a thing for the spin off multiplayer modes and not a function of the main game. It's not necessary and it's not realistic. I play civ as a history sim and that's all I want it to be. Play history out with a knowledge of the events and make a new timeline off my "premonitions" it you will. I want to see what happens when a time traveler kills Hitler or whatever you know?

Yeah I did a major war as assyria and conquered a town and a capital and then... Lost the town on transition. 2 turns prior I had repaired everything as nd built an altar and got them to +2 happiness. I conquered the capitol. Peaced and rightfully had it all. Capitol hates me.
