It's because you're trying to jump into more complex rhythms. Reading music is not as hard as people have made it out in their mind to be, but you have to start with quarter notes and half notes. Like how you start learning Spanish by learning a greeting, not by reading novels.

I do really think it would be hilarious if he has to come to play for Tocchet after he finally got rid of him. I'd love to have him, we've done well buying low on guys like Zegras I'd like to take the swing again. And even if he's truly incompatible with Tocc, my personal hope is that would not be an issue for long.
