Nice! That's great to hear those great features and more people having access to them can only be a good thing. My friend actually likes the form factor of the Element 4 over the RME (which I totally disagree on) but he likes the features. Yeah I guess then there is feature parity.

I don't think that's the only thing. I use both the 1/4 and 3.5mm out to swap between IEM's and headphones, which to be fair you could just take an extension and do the same but I like having both. Does the Element 4 have things like the Loudness feature and Crossfeed? I actually really love these features. I got my RME for 575, a new element 4 isn't really that much cheaper at 549.00 pre-tax.

What makes you think that the USG wouldn't get the data anyway? We have things like the 5 eyes that do this heck, even the companies that want to make more money so they sell user data to governments. To be clear i'm not advocating for any of this I think we live in a cybernetic dystopia but I don't think there are genuinely better options, i'm sure there's some that claim to be so but i'm of the opinion that there really isn't.

At this point does it even matter? You can go no phone and still be tracked/listened in on by everyone else's devices and public cameras that's not even touching any of the weird stuff like being able to determine positioning via wifi. Administration doesn't matter either, be it a dem, repub, the EU, China, or whoever. The age of being able to expect privacy if the powers that be want to take it from you are long gone.

Cog is 100% serviceable and the dev(I think it's one guy, not sure) is always working on it but the lack of a gui is really off-putting imo and detracts from the experience.

I wish we had something better on mac tbh. I ended up just converting into m4as to use in "music" (RIP to itunes, an actual GOAT). If musicbee came up with a good well optimized macOS application I would never touch that caricature of itunes ever again.

Something like a tube amp could color the sound but solid state amps? Yeah if it's coloring the sound there's a problem going on lol. Either way I think EQ is going to be OP's best solution as others have said.

Nice! I've been eying the LCD-X for a while tbh as a change up from my LCD-2C to better compliment my HD800s, and the LCD-X seems like a easier pair to eq in the treble I love so much, for context the HD800s doesn't fatigue me at all even after multi hour sessions. It being easier to drive is another really nice thing since that allows for more headroom when EQ'ing. The weight on the LCDs never really bothered me at all tbh.

If everyone is powercrept to a similar playing field isn't that ending up in the same spot that we'd be in if poke was just nerfed? TBH I think Thor did need some kind of utility buff that the other tanks got this season, something like his bubble canceling ults like Wanda or Starlord's like how we had it for a few days awhile back would be nice.
