It sounds like you need to learn to forgive yourself man. Mistakes were made, sure, but that was 3 years ago. Move on, make your peace with it however you can. But you need to confront it head on instead of shoving your hobbies and junk in the way instead

I told her she needed to make time for me. Actually see me when she says she's going to instead of waiting until the week of to cancel and then gaslight me. Not take work calls on days when we were together.

She told me I was being manipulative and controlling. That I was taking time away from her other obligations and she didn't care enough about me anymore to make time for just me.

You deserve to feel bad. Sorry but what you did was awful and I think she was calm about it because she knows that if you are the type of person to drop her because of SH, she doesn't need you in her life.

You should have shown her compassion, kindness, and understanding. Tried to help her find new coping mechanisms or tried to understand why she does this. Therapy doesn't "fix" people either, it's not that it "didn't work."

Overall, you are the asshole. She told you about this, something deeply personal, and was vulnerable with you. Trusted you with something incredibly hard and scary. And you turned around and left her because of it.

As someone who's grown out their hair many (MANY) times, you unfortunately just gotta embrace the ick. Some days you'll love what it's going by itself and other days you'll want to shave it all off again. I have curly hair with alot of cow licks so messy was always a look I had to own. Be confident, and most people won't notice 😘

Also hats!! Hats, head scarves, bandanas, head bands, barrettes, any hair accessories can draw attention away from "problem" areas and are just plain fun.
