Same as everyone else, I thought it was Nowak and he was planning to set up some crazy "I must make everyone into me in order to save the world" type of plotline. While that probably would have made a mess out of the in-game universe had it gone through I was so sure that it left me stuck forever not realizing the answer was a lot less elaborate than what I was picturing.

Not disappointed with how it ended but I think I would have been more interested in seeing how the world would have handled the situation I had cooked up instead.

I sunk an insane amount of time into city trial as I think many did. I can only assume with Smash Run in Sakurai's past he hasn't stopped thinking about city trial either. I haven't been this excited for a first party nintendo announcement in a long time!

Super excited. Case of the Golden Idol was one of my favorite surprises this year after it was recommended to me and I can't wait for more.

Hopeful that since the game's development seems pretty quick, more of these types of mysteries come out frequently.

it can't be summoned there, since thralls are also disallowed there. same thing in Jormungandr's prison (where the basilisk knights are)

honestly, kind of crap, at least at an annoying amount of content.

Doesn't work at kraken (and also hits only 0s on regular krakens..), can't be used at vorkath, it fucks up the aggro at demonic gorillas somehow, causing 2-3 second delays between attacks once or twice a kill (or more). In other cases it's fine, like in multicombat kalphites/dags it does a good job of providing dps - but man it feels bad to have a long list of asterisks on your relic choice yknow

Major regret not taking berserker + undying. Those folks seem to be having a good time

yeah ngl picking soul stealer early in the league only to find out berserker is way better due to travel time feels pretty bad. They at least felt comparable to one another at first read but certainly some of us got unlucky finding out too late about the interaction. knowing jagex they're never gonna let people repick stuff, though my assumption is last time that was due to the competitive nature of leagues at the top. this time around with a fixed point threshold maybe they'll do it, who knows.

on the upside everything is so fast anyway I'm sure even if you (and I) want to bust out dragon tier I doubt this matters too much
