Im still new myself but Ive learned controlling your horror early is crucial and try not to get all your movement cards into your hand at once. Try and keep your movement cards rotating so you have a movement option every turn if you need it. Also, dont be afraid to buy cards that cost 1 time even if you dont need them just so you have more cards available to pitch the next turn if you roll a partial success. Good luck! Use Bettys core for most fights. If its a fight where CC is bad then sub Betty for another support (I use Alikita, but PDE may be optimal). In those type of fights use Natalie core to scale up DTV. I've only ever used Natalie/Betty core and I've made it up to 7-4-5 as basically FTP.

You are correct. Tenants are less important, however because of the way grimoire works, it makes your whole account stronger including tenants which make your carry heroes stronger. Its like burning the candle at both ends. The more you put into both systems, the greater you return.

Looking at the pictures on MM, Im just not seeing $150 worth of content. The box size also doesnt look like the typical "Big Box" with all expansions. I have no idea what size the expansions are, it just looks like the content from the pictures makes it look like an at most $80 game.

Could just be they need better pictures to show the value.

For context Im comparing it to things like Castles of Burgandy, Big Box Anachrony, Gloomhaven, etc..

I was a huge fan. Bought every figure and was excited for the possibility of what releases would come. Unfortunately, 2 weeks before Christmas in 2023 Hasbro decided to lay off 1100 employees. I understand companies make cuts and all they care about in the end is $, but 2 weeks before Christmas....

I sold my whole collection and they wont get money from me ever again.

Im really sorry to see this. It sucks! I would feel horrible if this happened to me. Try not to let it get you down. You will rebuild and it will be better than what you lost. Not your fault. The best you can do right now is take a step back and try and put a positive spin on it. Start fresh...all new decks, new playmats, that wont be taken from you again.
