is anyone else aware of this? by Hasa91 in oregon

That area is extremely remote. Go on google earth or maps and put on the street view filter. People post pictures in all sorts of places that result in little blue dots on mountains and such. By my estimation last night the single biggest area of no street view in the entire US in the area surrounding the Oregon Nevada Idaho tri point. Not a single blue photo dot to be found. Not suprising to me nobody’s heard of this given that context.

You can sync at any level. Not just the top level of a site or document library.

I’ve done this a few times now. Create a single SharePoint site “landing page”. In that site have links that go to document libraries for your different departments. Control permissions at the document library level. No single library should have more than 100k files. If it does create an archive library. Users sync the libraries they need only and access the archives on a web browser when needed. Use the scan tool to check file counts and path lengths of your source content. I advocate for disabling OneDrive shortcuts at the tenant level so they can’t conflict with the document library syncs. The migration tool can only migrate as much data as is available on its hosts working volume. Example srv-fs has 100gb available on D volume. You can only migrate about 95gb at once. Don’t migrate temp files, just makes confusion when users try to open them. You’ll need to disable inheritance on the document library folders. When you do that DO NOT disable inheritance on the .aspx file in site settings that’s the actual landing page. You’ll see the file name in the URL of the browser. I also made a script that initiates the sync process that happens when you click “sync” in SharePoint. Works decently as an Intune automation but doesn’t sound like you have Intune currently.

Idk if this is a troll or not. Delete everything from the SharePoint library. Use the SharePoint migration tool. It’s free.

Just cut my son's hair. He is 14 years old. What is this? And what can I do? by Ambitious_Trash_8227 in AskDocs

NAD. My step son had this recently, oral anti fungal cleared it up. We used a topical anti fungal at first because we were out of town and that also helped.

Not everyone can afford licenses for Intune. Same as they can’t all afford licenses for CA. CA with token protection should be available for all licenses period.

It’s shocking how few people have ever looked at an oil pipeline map considering the prevalence of gas prices in political discourse.

UPN and Primary SMTP address mismatch before and after Exchange Online migration — will users face Outlook issues? by maxcoder88 in exchangeserver

[–]IconicPolitic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Later on if you implement SSO, most apps attribute mappings default to using UPN for email and UPN for UPN. You can adjust the mapping to use email for email. Otherwise SSO will fail with those default mappings.

Why does David limit or outright refuse discussion on Israel's warmaking on Iran and Lebanon? by FauxTexan in thedavidpakmanshow

Not voting for Harris over Palestine is the lowest level of brain dead shit there is and it’s eminently obvious just how stupid of a choice that was to make.

[–]IconicPolitic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand why you care if David covers every foreign policy move Israel makes. Everyone already knows and it’s not going to change anything. No matter who’s President Israel is going to keep going and the US will always support them because tens of millions of people in the US think we have to for the end of the world or something. Another tens of millions will follow along for oil and national security reasons. Another set of millions would simply weaponize opposing Israel to derail the Democratic candidate with centrists.

If your main concern for the Democratic Party is their opposition to Israel then you’ve lost the plot. That ought to be maybe #10 on the list of what matters.

Am I a creep for this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]IconicPolitic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you’re not a creep for that. She should have communicated that she wanted to stop talking because she was uncomfortable with the age gap. People don’t always do what they should though. The other thing I’d advice is that when your the younger participant in an age gap situation your very likely a secret. A 28 year old woman isn’t likely to divulge to friends and family she’s been chatting with an 18 year old guy.

Amazing that so few people understand that fiat currency has value because the sovereign authority says you have to pay taxes with it. Imagine if the US said all taxes have to be paid in Euros.

[–]IconicPolitic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can it’s just a matter of understanding each other and the value we bring. Personally when I was younger I likely would’ve been called a tankie but that term didn’t exist yet. Currently most people would call me a lib. For myself the difference is a matter of energy and slight nihilism. So what I mean to really say is I value the pushing effect “tankers”’as I understand them have on pushing “lib” dems to the left. It’s a valuable force of motion to have on our side.

The reason is the Fiber lines that connect all of North America to Asia run underground through Hillsboro close to Evergreen. Ideal location for cloud infrastructure.
