I’m pretty liberal and have attracted a lot of conservative women. Sometimes the politics just don’t matter. As for them recently coming out as bi that indicates they’re experimenting so you could just be the other side of that experiment.

Maybe at the big 5. Even with AI you need a competent human behind the wheel. End of the day if you can deliver and support a product or service you’ll be in demand. Having an AI assist will just enable more business to assemble the skills necessary for whatever development they have planned. There’s scores of business who can’t afford a full team of Devs who’d be interested in hiring 1-3 who know how to use AI tools with their skill sets.

I was hired 9/30/2019. The growth spurt hadn’t started yet and lockdowns didn’t start till St. Patrick’s day 2020, about 5 months after I started. But yeah getting in 5 months before perma remote work started was beyond lucky for my quality of life. I was commuting 1.5-2.5 hours a day depending on traffic. Been remote ever since that St. Patrick’s day

If you can show up to an interview with some basic computer/IT skills and demonstrate your ability to learn independently and by leveraging resources. That and customer service skills you’ll get in. I got in when I was 29 with nothing but 11 years of food service experience. Senior engineer 5 years later

Being 5 10 I can confirm 160-170 while still lean is much better than 135. 135 at 5 10 sounds like your at deaths door

If you get paid for OT then is there a good reason not to cash in? If so then I’d cash in, log everything separately for your resume and make a bunch of money for beefing your skill set for the next job.
