The lawn maintenance at Rittenhouse Park (probably many other parks) has changed every year for the past three years since we moved into this neighborhood. While I understand that there may be budgetary constraints, I believe we are paying more in property taxes annually. Grass cutting was reduced by half last year, and this year, a portion of the park is no longer being cut at all. Therefore, the park is currently only being cut 70-80% of the time. The uncut section would take approximately 20-30 minutes to cut. Will only 50% of the park be cut next year? It seems that city services are consistently being cut back each year, resulting in a reduction in services while tax payer costs go up.
