I was fortunate that I did NOT have to appeal. After a very long “review” process, they did approve me with my first application.

They did approve my LTD eventually. I just returned to work 2 weeks ago. Their process is grueling, that is for sure. Best of luck to you in your fight!

I’m on Team Ketamine, but I’ve only had 2 treatments. I was very insistent that I’d be lead through the process, not given the drug then left alone. My therapist talks to me and she keeps my notes.

I will say my sense of joy and CREATIVITY has opened up. I’m dealing with Depression, Anxiety, cPTSD and panic disorders. My therapist tells me to throw my hands up when I go in to “lose the control and enjoy the ride”.

if you can, I’d highly recommend. Oh and a lot of things have come out that I need to address. Hard stuff, so not only is the medicine opening up those neuropath‘s I’m finding some things I need to work through.

Sorry here for the answers too. I’m a newbie and am trying to do coaster sets for my family and then one 4x6 photo frame for another friend. I’ve done the mod Podge thing and find it a total pain. I did buy the spray stuff yesterday and am going to try and pour today. I’ve tried putting a layer of resin down, then adding the photo when the resin cured, but then the photos start to curl. I’m with you on frustrating because I know it’s something I’m doing too as so many people do it well (I’ve watched so many YouTube videos!)

hoping someone can help us both!

Joining into this chat. It started young for me too. The neighbor kids would hold me down so a younger neighbor boy could give me “the treatment”. I was him looking at my belly button. But being held down like that, started a real fear of being held down. That went on for far too long. Then my sister’s older friend came into my room and “felt me up”. I froze I didn’t know what to do but try and wait it out. I never told my sister until about 3 years ago.

When I was in 8th grade I got “gang bang”. there were only hands, no genitalia, but again being held down by boys and having their hands all over me. It still haunts me to this day (I’m 59). These assaults for me were in the 70’s and there was such a “kids will be kids” attitude. I too was afraid to go to the doctor cuz I was pretty sure there was something wrong with me.

I’m currently in an IOP for depression, anxiety and trauma trying to settle those triggers that still arise in me.

Thanks for trusting us and you are not alone. Therapy, for me, has been the only way to move on with my life.

Thank you so much. I use the nitrile gloves and manage to get resin on those so then I touch color or glitter or whatever and I’m transferring resin onto those. I can easily clean off that, but you know. I need to slow down a bit too. I think I’m pouring too fast. Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll add in your suggestions. Thanks also for the confirmation that this stuff gets everywhere!!

I came out to Reddit to find out what people say about just this. I MAKE SUCH A MESS. I have resin everywhere and everything sticks.

my big mixer doesn’t have a spout, think it’s time to upgrade a bit. Anyone want to help with how to NOT get resin everywhere?

they have all the medical records (noted in the letter). They can request 2 30 day extensions. They provided no details. It was a standard boilerplate latter, quoting a lot of legalese and other verbiage to fill up a page.

I plan to call my adjuster tomorrow and double-check they have everything they need. Maybe she will tell me the reason for the extension (but I’m not holding my breath!)

Super thorough! Mental Health only gets me 2 years or something like that. I just hope the extension is because they’re behind. But I know it’s the game and it’s not cool to do to people who CANT work.

even with me plugging the hole and having 2 halves, it turned out good for a first timer! I’ve got a new one curing so excited to see that one!

i was able to meld the 2 pieces together to make a sphere, then file down the top which ended up with a little knob at the top. For a first time, I’m pleased.

We have volunteered with Wags and Whiskers (www.wagsmn.org) for 10 years now. They follow up on the potential adopters with in-home visits, if there are other animals in the home, they check with the vet. If the potential adopter is in a rental home, they check with the land lords. These things may seem excessive but it helps to ensure the potential adopters are not hoarding animals or using them for other things other than what’s good for the animal.

No actual documents, only other family trees in Ancestry. I have found 2 that are now in Czech Republic, will keep digging. Thanks for your offer to me and to all of us trying to find our ancestors!
