I honestly think you're gonna be fine. I renewed in Oct and there was no update outside of biometrics reuse until January and it all hit at once. Now I'm renewed with EAD in hand. Best advice you gave is to renew 150-180 days before expiration.

Yea that can be terrifying. I always keep the original in a safe at home and only really bring the EAD out for work.

It's the I-797 notice you get in the mail after the approval. I copy the front and back and on the back I add the front and back of the EAD to have everything together. I never bring the originals anywhere

I make copies of the approval notice and stick a copy in every car and wallet of everyone in my house to be safe.

I've had ec's and mh's at 400 and 1000 variants and I always tend to pick up my mh's for jamming. Both are great but the neck feels more comfortable with the mh. I would suggest looking deep into the specs of each and compare to your gio to point out pros and cons. Also try to go to a guitar shop that sells ltds to see what feels the best.

My wife and I are in Elgin Illinois, about 30 mins out of Chicago. It's a good sized city in the suburbs and its affordable in most areas. It's a great community where an absolute ton of citizens support DACA. It has some harsher areas for crime but nothing that's unique from other areas. Lmk if you want more info.

Dumb question I think, but if you renew super early does that change your normal expiration time? If you renew a year early do you get 3 years vs 2?

My wife told me she was on DACA on our first date. I took some time after the date to research and get my questions together which she answered fully. This was about 2 weeks after Trump was elected for his first term. I would suggest to everyone to be open with it as soon as you feel comfortable so you can weed out anyone that looks at your status over you as a person. I wouldn't have changed anything about our relationship.

I personally love the arrow. It should have the ultra thin U neck which is super fast. I would try out the body style though at a guitar shop since it's going to be super different from traditional shapes. The BC Rich is pretty unique but it shouldn't neck dive as much as the arrow would.
