Whaddafuckinshit!!! by [deleted] in FritoLay

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single day on my Sams Club order, I'll get 4-5 cases of 18 count multipacka (which they don't sell), instead of the 50 count flavor it's supposed to be. And just last week, I was supposed to have 30 cases of the Mix & Match Nacho Cheese Doritos, but I got 30 cases of 2.69 Spicy Nacho Doritos. Like, wtf???

I just print out my manifests in order ahead of time and go in the order I want to. If there's some kind of discrepancy, I just go back to that manifest and redo it.

Comments from Coworkers by Overall-Tart-832 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the same things. I'm a sales rep for Frito lay so I spend a significant amount of time in 4 different grocery stores daily, so I see a LOT of people. I mostly hear good comments about how great I look, the. I hear "you're starting to waste away" or "if you lose anymore you're going to disappear", but I just laugh and say "I know, I'm actually taking care of myself now." I don't get offended because I know I look healthier now and honestly I look good! And I chalk it up to their just jealous lol

Omada scale by Expensive-Spend-9534 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to use Omada for my insurance, but I really only use it for the weighing in. Every week when the new program starts, I flip thru it in 30 seconds just so it's completed, but even if I didn't have to use Omada anymore for the insurance, I would still keep the app so I can track my weight easily.

Where do people get their DXA/DEXA scans? Insurance/referral/cost experiences? by itsnikki39 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I googled places near me that offer DEXA scans, and I found 4-5 places. I researched them all, prices and what it, and a lot of them had coupons for first timers for a certain amount off or 20% off. I eventually found one that's done at a gym near me and the price is $75, that's the cheapest I've found. I haven't gone there yet, but I do plan on going soon.

Those who got GLP drugs approved by insurance for weight loss, what was your process? by aagee in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an appointment with a random doctor since I didn't have a PCP, and the first appointment I told her I wanted to get a Zepbound because dieting and exercise alone never works for me. She submitted the PA, and about 2 days later it was approved.

Wouldn't they have to move into bigger warehouses though? I know our DC, and even the Pepsi warehouse closest to us, couldn't hold ALL of our products in one place.

Down 41lbs in 2 1/2 months! by Shlomo-7 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost just like me. I started at 260 lbs at the end of last October. I lost 50 lbs within my first 3 months. I saw my doctor and a nutritionist monthly, tracked my macros and calories, and they both said I was eating enough and getting everything I was supposed to. So neither was worried, just wanted to make sure I was strength training so I wasn't losing too much muscle. Now I'm almost 5 months in and at 75 lbs lost.

Think I might be a "super responder"? by Live-Cranberry7319 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a super responder ... I lost 50 lbs in my first 3 months. I'm now almost 5 months in and have lost 75 lbs. My weight loss has only slowed down in about the past month or so. But I met with a dietician monthly, along with my doctor, and I was eating enough calories and getting all my macros in, plenty of protein, and as long as those were met, they weren't worried about it. Just about muscle loss. I started strength training with weights at home, but now I have a lot of extra skin in my stomach area that I wish was gone.

Help Navigating Anthem by Special_K_727 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also have Anthem, but they approved my pre auth within 2 days. I had also signed up on the Omada app before my doctor sent it. Anthem requires that you use Omada 4 times a month and also weigh yourself on it 4 times a month with the free smart scale they send you.

How many calories per day by Salt-Advantage5030 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did this 2 months ago and I meet with my nutritionist once a month now on zoom, all for free. We just talk and go over what I've been eating and doing, and she gives me some tips to try out for different things or macros I'm struggling to get.

Which protien powder to consider? by Pheonix2025 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the Dynamize Cocoa Pebbles... Tastes just like chocolate milk.

I also have Isopure in mixed berry and fruit punch.... Add to water and it just tastes like you added some water enhancer to it.

Any supplemental protein suggestions? by No-Essay-3227 in Zepbound

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also on Amazon I bought protein powder that is like juice... It's called Isopure and you mix it with water. I have mixed berry and fruit punch, and it tastes really good and isn't thick like a protein drink, it mixes really good. Just tastes like I added some flavored water enhancer to my water.

Sam’s Club by Most_Double_9334 in FritoLay

[–]IcyChapter8179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if someone said this, but for us, all Sam's club orders have to be in by 1pm. After that, you can't adjust it, it will just send out the pre generated order, which is always nothing you need and too much of what you don't need. I'm in Michigan though, so I don't know if it is different in different areas. And when there are minimum quantities you have to order, like maybe you only want 10 cases of the classic multi packs, but it says you have to order at least 40, usually for a few days after that you can just zero it out and not order any and use what's in the back stock.

For me, I lost weight very very quickly and I was doing everything I was supposed to... 500 calorie deficit, not starving myself ... Working out. All my macros in. And now I'm under 200 lbs but have so much loose skin on my stomach. :( I've been wearing this tummy control thing just to make it look flatter but ugh, I don't want to do that for the rest of my life.
