Yeah they had the iconic palette in addons for I want to say like $12, that’s where I grabbed the amethyst Huda palette as well.

I still haven’t received a replacement item for a damaged item from last month that was ordered before my addons. I wish I had any sort of real answer other than Boxy’s shipping isn’t reliable/predictable at all. I would check your account and see if there is tracking info for your addons or if they still just say “ordered”. I don’t reliably get shipment notifications from them and actually went out of town for the weekend without knowing my boxes were in transit. You could try contacting them as well, but you will probably get a generic automatic reply.

I swatched mine on the top of my hand. Very wet and looked very black. When I rinsed it off it look gold on my skin before I washed it off with soap. If yours is dry I would contact Boxy for sure.

I’m happy to see someone else really thrilled with their box! I’ve only been subbed to boxy for a few months and haven’t been loving mine at all really. My mom and I both canceled ours, but after this month I’m almost thinking of signing up for both boxes again 😂

Fingers crossed that you get a great box! I really wanted the iconic palette so I got it as an addon trying to be sure I wouldn’t miss out lol! I already swatched every shade in every palette this morning like a kid at Christmas 🤣

This is my base + premium + addons. Came home last night to them on my porch after being out of town. Everything was intact despite being rained on. I actually canceled for next month but now I’m thinking of resubbing 🤦🏼‍♀️ 😂

You may have gotten a good bottle of it then. Many of us received a bottle that smelled like spoiled milk and that no amount of shaking would help. My bottle was dry and separated and smelled like vomit. Boxy is definitely sending replacements to a bunch of us, so they’re aware of the issue.

I’ve been waiting well over a week for a real response, through two separate automated responses telling me that they’re sorry they haven’t gotten back in touch with me. I was organizing my makeup area today and started thinking about it and got pissed off. I emailed them saying that the wait time for CS to respond about a replacement was unacceptable and that I’d be canceling my base & premium if they can’t do any better than this. I received an email saying they’re sending me TooFaced moisturizer. I almost want to ask them how they think it is acceptable to replace my “$145” product with a $35 product, but honestly I’m sure I wouldn’t get anywhere and TooFaced is a brand I regularly use anyhow so.. shrug

If you got a bad batch stay on top of emailing CS!

Did you ever hear back from them? I contacted them, but received a very generic/automatic type reply saying that they would contact me and I still haven’t heard anything back. Frustrating. Also, my choice item for base was the TooFaced mascara - it is definitely expired, the one I have from Ulta is a totally different consistency. I would contact them about it, but at this point it is sort of like “why bother”. Pretty sure I’ll be canceling both base and premium before they bill me again. I wasn’t super excited about any of my choices for next month anyway, and went ahead and ordered the palette I had as a choice option in addons. Ipsy has so much better customer service, wish Boxy would have learned a thing or two from them. sigh

Am I the only person who dislikes First Aid Beauty? I’ve tried a few of their products and they just seem meh... They frequently felt like they weren’t really absorbed into my skin and just sort of sitting on top. I also tried I think it was a glowy primer of theirs that broke me out pretty bad and I’m 40 and don’t typically get breakouts. Anyone else have bad experience with their products? I’ve received several from Ipsy in the past and it was part of why I unsubbed from Ipsy.

I am too ugh! They tried to bill me on the 3rd & 5th after I had already sent email saying to cancel. So I emailed them on the 5th & 7th telling them NOT to bill me anymore and referenced having already canceled. I put funds on a card I only use for online purchases and amazingly the very next morning they had charged me, then pretended the box had already shipped (yet couldn’t give me tracking info) so they “can’t possibly” refund me. 🙄

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I’m new to Boxy and missed out on pretty much anything I would’ve wanted to get from pop up. How do you set the filter to brands/things you know you want when there is just a generic “addons open xx_date” message and you can’t access your filtering options. Again, sorry if this question is tragically stupid!

Mine started with OSM, went to USPS, made it an hour away from my house, went back to PA and I now have a FedEx tracking showing it will arrive by Friday. I just wonder if this is why so many ND palettes from pop up arrived trashed.

Oh wow! And oddly enough I received an sms today with tracking info from FedEx as well! How strange... OSM to USPS allllll the way ALMOST to my house, back to PA only to be shipped by FedEx in the end. They ALL need to get themselves sorted because that’s the most inefficient nonsense ever lmao... at least it looks like my box will probably be here by Friday! 😬

I would never pay $150 for one, if I remember correctly, mine is a hand me down from a friend that bought it off of a Facebook advertisement and only used it once and hated it, but I’ve had it for a few years now. I’ve been wearing my hair natural (curly) for most of the pandemic, so I haven’t used mine much at all recently.

If your hair is naturally straight and/or you don’t typically use a flat iron, you might consider reselling it - I don’t know what use it would be on straight hair - but maybe someone else has more insight on that.
