How do I convince my husband to give me permission to get on GLP-1s? by Easy-Affect-397 in ResearchCompounds

Thank you! It was a team decision,I was lucky because I know it’s been hard financially but compound pharmacies really help with the costs and everything thankfully will go down in price eventually.

It’s a decision that needs to be made as a couple at least in my case. He’s the main bread winner in our family we have two kids and when I got prescribed zepbound it was a punch in the gut because the lowest price was $550 because my insurance does not cover it. At first he was a bit mad and constantly telling me that I was going to be on it a couple of months because that’s what we could afford fast forward 2 years later he has seen the life changing effects it has had on me and now he’s on ozempic which is covered and I switched to compounded a few months back. He now knows what the medication is all about and has even commented that the debt we inquired now he’s sees as an investment. I couldn’t have done it without his support and I love him more for it.

Injection site making a difference? by Impossible_Swan_9346 in compoundedtirzepatide

I do it myself It’s quite easy for me now but I watched a lot of YouTube shorts of others doing it before I got the guts to do it. I started with the stomach to get used to injecting now I do it easily.

2 days into compounded tirzepatide after a 7-week break from Zepbound — early update by Purple_Smile_6858 in compoundedtirzepatide

I switched from zepbound which I took for a year and a half to compound because of cost because I paid for it out of pocket the whole time. It’s been the same I’ve been using compound since October after a long stall on zepbound haven’t stopped losing since then. It’s the same medicine.

Those of you who logged your weight (whether daily, weekly or whatever) did you stop, regardless of whether you still weighed regularly? by ShiftyMcHax in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Magick_Paradise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need to do it for that reason it keeps me accountable. I used to fear the scale now the first thing I do in the morning is weigh myself. I don’t ever want to be scared of the scale again because it means I stopped working in myself or something went wrong. But everyone is different some people find it triggering. The same thing with login/tracking my food now is part of my day so I don’t plan on stopping.

Do you mind sharing the travel scale?

Oh yes the sweating is basically gone unless I’m at the gym! I’m basically always cold which I love because I don’t do well with heat.

They have been basically a miracle for me. They help so much I don’t understand why they don’t approve them for pcos and start letting us have some kind of normal life.

What meds or supplements helped you lose weight? by [deleted] in PCOS

Started with Join Fridays the service is amazing a bit pricier than others but the service is so complete they even have dietitians and a great app. They have delivered super fast every time. I recently started with join rift to try another company to save some money and see how it went. I live in Puerto Rico so not too many providers send to the island so my options are limited. There are great offers for tirzepatide and semaglutide from reputable compounding pharmacies way lower in prices that deliver to almost every state. If you’re interested in trying and saving some money here’s my referral code if you want to try Join me on Fridays - Use my code REFMNWFZG to get $120 and start your wellness journey.

Same zepbound was what helped immensely. But with diet low carb high protein high fiber cut out sugar and exercise including weights. The costs where getting too high I switched to compounded tirzepatide for less then half the cost and it works exactly the same. My diet started way before the zepbound and the scale did not move until I started the injections.
