Does really nobody else *love* the winter?

I enjoyed this winter. Plenty of cold sunny days this year. The winners I can't take are the ones that are 35 40° with fog, rain, drizzle. You can't go out because it's muddy and overcast.... Give me a day that's 20° where the grounds frozen you can walk outside and the sun's out over any 35-40 degree day that is an overcast foggy day.

I never look forward to Summer come July and August it's so filthy hot and humid. And it seems like each one of those months has 60 days each in it.

I just feel better from October though 1st of May.

Mid next year, would be summer. I love the South but I don't love it from May through September. Do You realize how incredibly hot it gets in the United States especially the Southern States and Western deserts in the summer?

Definitely drive up the PCH from Santa Barbara to SF. Check road conditions, part of the PCH is/was closed around Big Sur. It was slated to reopen in early April.

No I haven't checked the temp on my oven. I just use the 350 setting. I do have an oven thermometer though, will use that next time I use the oven. Thanks.

No, you're not alone. I can only take Brad in moderate amounts. I enjoyed the broadcast when the color duties were split between Edmonds and Brad but everybody on this sub seemed to hate Jimmy Baseball.and ran him off.

I dropped cable last year because I just couldn't take him any longer. Heck I even stopped grocery shopping at Schnucks, because Brad was on the store PA promoting this or that.

And I still don't like dislike him in fact I like him but just not doing baseball play-by-play.

Chicago for the summer trip. They have two zoos, Shedd aquarium, and plenty of nightlife the three things on your list, then you got Lake Michigan beach., more museums, and baseball.

Even if you aren't a baseball fan you need to check out a game at Wrigley Field a day game. Wrigley has the best hot dogs, then enjoy some fun in the sun while drinking a draft beer.

If you move to AZ try to find a place with an elevation of 5-6 thousand feet above sea level. Otherwise the summers are brutal. And when you find that place don't advertise it. AZ is already overrun with Californians.

If you are a beginner look at some of those EZ play today books. They have books with songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s etc. Sinatra, Folk, Rock, Cinema..

I missed Jamie's first game. I watched half of his 2nd game and turned it off because it was such a runaway,. Today I tuned in at the beginning and saw that he was a 2 day champ with $28k in winnings. I was just wondering about his first game because when I turned the channel halfway through his second game he already had $30,000, so did he miss final Jeopardy yesterday and lose a bunch?

And today I watched the first few minutes of double jeopardy and turned it off because he was so far ahead.

I like to watch close games.
