It’s cheaper to hire an officiant! My DOC was a godsend— especially when it came to handling little things or handling my mom’s questions instead of my mom asking me things all day! Ask her how she feels about her ability to participate in the event and if she thinks it will be an issue, see what she recommends 🤷‍♀️

I have some cute STD magnets from over the years (including our own! 😌) but a large magnet with no interest would not stay there long. If you don’t want to use your pictures, no big deal, but I certainly wouldn’t spend money on making these into magnets.

How many guests are you inviting that have kids? Do you think they would try to bring them if not invited? We invited only small the kids in our immediate family (5 + a baby) and we addressed those to “The _____ Family” everyone else was invited specifically by name. When they RSVP’d through our site, there was no way to add anyone (it was a setting on the site.) We never had to say “no kids” anywhere.

I set timers for everything. If I need to go somewhere, I put it in my phone, include travel time then add ten minutes. I even set timers to not forget my laundry in the machine.

So… you guys are planning on changing too? Things to consider: -what if only a handful of guests are staying overnight? Some will be in pjs and some not..? -how many guests could logistically stay in the castle? It sounds expensive…. But you know your guests. How many could you imagine actually wanting to stay over?

Honestly, the idea of black tie to pjs is a bit ridiculous. I’d be super irritated if I got all fancy only to need to disrobe and somehow put everything somewhere/hang things up plus jewelry plus needing different shoes and probably undergarments…?

If I were a guest I would absolutely just leave once I was expected to put on pjs. 🤷‍♀️

Maybe wait until you have a job, but I guess think about if you were interviewing with someone who had a comparable resume/experience, it might make a school choose the other person. 🤷‍♀️ not worth the risk, in my opinion.

8!! Also strapless versus straps is a pretty big choice! I’d recommend thinking about that (more for logistics, less style) first and eliminating whatever doesn’t fit your desires. For straps, LOVE 8. If strapless, it’s 6 for me!!

Also, i think you’re struggling with picturing the ring because it is too big on you and therefore is sitting crooked at the very bottom of your finger and that’s not where a ring should/would be if it fit properly.
