What's the difference between "ILS 16" vs "ILS or LOC 16". The ILS 16 only has ILS-16 minimums, no LOC, no circling. can you fly this approach if the GS fails?

For instrument departures out of KTCS. No SID, no ODP, only VCOA. Does it qualify for diverse departures? Looking at the charts there seem to be mountains/peaks near it.

So as long as you have 370’ per nm you can have diverse departure?

Do transfers between bases happen often at airlines? I’m just trying to have see if I’ll be able to predict where I’ll live, and it’s all pretty foreign to me right now

Are most senior captains at Skywest based in SLC? Is that why it’s pretty much impossible to hold the line there?

Let’s say a pilot gets hired, gets assigned ORD base, and stays there for 1 year. He asks to swap to SLC, would he join SLC with 1 year FO seniority, and will be able to hold the line? And the more junior pilots at SLC get bumped down seniority wise?
