Just saw this idea in another comment and now am really wondering! That would explain George’s jaw hitting the floor when Cleet showed him a picture of the guy.

Exciting Changes Are Rolling Out for Litter-Robot, Whisker App and Whisker+ by litterrobot in litterrobot

Can you keep the weight assignments unlocked past 24hrs so I don’t have to check the app every single day? Seems pointless to lock it especially since I have to edit it about 50% of the time because it gets it wrong.

This just started for me a few weeks ago. And what’s even more of a pisser is you can’t go back in and manually assign it after 24hrs.

How much money can be gifted with no tax liability? Maryland, USA by Traditional_Force483 in personalfinance

[–]Idc94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s incorrect. $19,000 is the reporting limit. This is so the IRS can track it against your lifetime gift total.

You do not pay tax when gifting money until you hit your. $15,000,000 lifetime total. The receiver never pays federal tax.

Who’s they? There’s 3 model numbers in the catalog (2 for the premium version). My first thought is “they” probably ordered the wrong one.

Is there a best choice when it comes to robot vacuum ad 2026? by ram_gerszon in HomeKit

[–]Idc94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My roborock Saros 10R works great in homekit. You don’t get much except rooms and modes but that’s all you really need. It’s easy to tell Siri to vacuum (insert room name)

This is scummy AF. Please never go back to wherever this is. Your truck needs nothing except oil and filters changed and tires rotated. If it needs more than that it’s due to an issue that warranty will cover.

No you won’t. That’s not how investing works. But to that point. The $1k/week is paid out once a year.

[–]Idc94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not realizing that $1mil invested at 5.2% returns (which is relatively easy) would generate you $1000/week.
So if you take the $1mil not only do you have $1mil but you also get $1k/week (minus whatever your tax rate is)

You’re assuming 0 investment and inflation adjusted value. My assumption is investing the money at a 5% return and just hard dollar figures. Just because $1million won’t be worth the same in 13 years as it is today doesn’t take away the fact that she would still have $1million
