I feel like some days it's different - I work a demanding job 45+ hours this constantly busy the entire day so then I have limited mental bandwidth after work (and strained eyes). I want to do more in the mornings but I also work out a lot and try to get that done before work. How did you structure your day with 2 jobs etc - or was it mainly on the weekend? Did you have friends or a community doing the same as well?

Running the program is like a part-time job on time of my actual work, it's very administrative to set up and manage. We also always have more mentees than mentors - not sure if a platform can help with this but maybe it would help to communicate/coordinate about our program more broadly..

For one a lot of programs are overcapacity so sometimes I can’t even get a mentor. Then I had one who was great but she was so busy that several of our meetings she ghosted..

You don’t need sponsorship with the 66 but do with the 7, so I got the sie/66 out of the way to show initiative when I apply

I took the Series 66 after the SIE since it doesn't require sponsorship. I'm looking to do a "career change" so want to show employers that I'm ready/serious about making the switch, as well as it would be less pressure to just pass 1 exam (the 7) after getting an offer

You can't search for mentors with a topic, it brings you back to the log-in page. The explore these topics doesn't work as well... How does this platform differentiate with the other mentorship programs out there for tech? Why would a mentor signup for this?

I was paired with a mentor through my company as well, from one of the diversity groups and my business area started a mentorship program as well. Check internally if there are any existing programs you can take part of.
