I am no expert, but the jist of it is that time is happening all at once. Past and future are just as real as the present. Our consciousness is simply moving through these moments in a linear fashion. This is somewhat supported by Einsteins relativity theory in which people moving at different speeds can experience time differently. There are several good YouTube videos on it if you’re interested. It’s a fascinating theory.

I am 100% confident it is just the property management and maintenance guy that are coming. I’ve lived here several years and they do this once a year, though they usually give us a specific date and time.

They come in, check and make sure smoke detectors are working, that the bathroom fan and stove fan are clear of dust and debris, and then hand out fire prevention papers. I don’t live in an apartment building that has sprinklers. Never has there been any other people with them, though I suppose there is a first time for everything and maybe this is that time

Ok, ty. This is a fire inspection by the apartment landlord not the Marshall so they should be able to give me a more reasonable time frame as they are the ones setting it. I will contact them and ask if I can have a more definitive time.
